Q: Hi 5i,
I have aprox. 20k in cash in my RRSP. I am trying to decide in what to invest it in. I am turning 37 years old this year. Should I be leaning towards a growth portfolio like I am doing with my TFSA?
What would be your top 5 stocks you would start your RRSP US or CDN with $20k cash?
I also have aprox $160k in a LIRA right now. How should i go about investing this money? Can you recomend me specific stocks or ETF's?
Thanks so much for your insight.

Q: What is going on with this company......?
Q: Hi 5I
If I'm not mistaken, previous answers regarding DHX include a positive view on management. Something along the lines of "they have done this ... building a solid company... before". With recent news of the management shakeup, do you still hold a similar view, have the key managers changed or are the ones you considered sound still around?
Thanks
Mike

Q: Hello, I have many less than 1% positions among mine and my wifes rrsp, tfsa etc. these are all good stocks which I would like to own. But this leads to too many holdings..what is a best way to manage these. Is it better to have one or max two stocks or one etf in each sector and sell the rest? Is there a good time to do this? Do portfolios with more concentrated positions say 5% do better? What position sizes for growthy small caps?
Sorry multiple questions use as many credits as appropriate.
Thanks.
Regards,
Shyam

Q: Over the past few years, we regularly heard that insurance companies' share prices could not perform well in a "low-rate" environment, or more particularly in an environment where the difference between long-term and short-term government bond rates is small. However, over the past year, rates have markedly increased, and the difference between the 10yr and 1mo rates is now at or near a multi-year high.
Quite logically, I expected my Canadian insurance holdings to show a significant increase in share price. However, this did not happen (or, at best, only very weakly). Why?
Thanks!

Q: Hi there
I have owned Corbys for quite a while and use it as a steady eady income stock. It would appear to be currently paying out more than its earnings by my brokers figures which isn't good. In the past it has paid special dividends. I see it has dropped in price to a 52 week low. I was thinking of adding to my position believing the price may rise over the next year. What do you think of Corbys going forward? Do you see it dropping further in price or more likely being a couple of dollars more in a years time?
Thanks
Stuart

Q: Moody's chart shows consistent and steady growth. It has shrugged off recent correction and is an all-time high. Is MCO in the financial sector? Please update your previous answer regarding it being considered a candidate for investment. Thanks
Q: Just a follow up to my Feb 26 question (you're answer kind of sounds as if you like both and dont really have a preference either way). Now that Ebix has reported, could you say which one you prefer for a long (ish) term hold and why?
Thanks
