Q: I have owned these stocks in my non-registered account for 12 years except ETF IGM, T, CTC.A (bought 2 yr ago - up a fair bit). T bought 5 years or so ago. GSY, MFC & GRT.UN a year ago - all 3 up nicely. I buy dividend growers for the most part. I have been retired for quite a while - so, more interested in dividend growth. Large portfolio with banks 40% of total. Do not worry about market downturns: add to positions when they go on sale -08/09 and 2020. Sitting on cash and looking to add to these positions . Do not own ENF.CA - typo. Suggestions?? IFC 5-6 years up 220% including dividends.

Q: I tendered my ENF shares and am wondering what the usual time line is for having them changed to ENB shares and deposited in my account along with the cash per share allocation. I noted the whole exchange deal happened on November 8. The ENF shares seemed to have disappeared from my on line Investors Edge account, i.e. they have been de listed from the TSX. Not sure what happens next or if i should be doing something to expedite the issue. Thank you for your help. Bill

Q: I have a question about 995
I have 200 shares of Enf and my understanding is that I will receive 140 shares of Enb. Given that Enb is down significantly today why doesn't it make sense to sell Enf at today's higher price? Do you think enbridge will sweeten the deal fir Enf like they did with spectra?

Q: Hello. One ENF share is being offered as 0.729 of an Enbridge share (ENB today at $47.12). ENF price should be 0.7029 x$47.12=$33.12 as to the agreement. ENF is now $33.95. Why is ENF trading so much higher than the conversion rate (2.5% higher)? Is there a reason behind it? Is it because ENF has a higher monthly dividend? Also do you have an idea of the exact date ENF will be converted into ENB shares? Thanks as always.

Q: I would like to reduce my utility / infrastructure holdings by one or two names. These are all partial positions except for FTS, which is full. Could you rank 1 - 7 in terms of keep:sell or just suggest one or two sell candidates? Thank-you.

Q: Hi
Do you know when ENB plans to buy ENF? And, please advise your favorite Canadian dividend grower that yields over 4.5 %. I, like others, will be overweight ENB when this deal consumates. So I will need a replacement. Thanks Frank

Q: I will be retiring at the end of the year.
My theory is that inflation is about to rise at a quicker rate than it has recently.
The listed securities are in my portfolio and are hurt by rising interest rates.
Which ones would you suggest that I lighten up on.
Which ones would be a hold.

Q: With the proposal of ENB to take out ENF at 29$ ( deal timeline for end of Q4) what are the risk associated with an arbitrage position by collecting dividends at around 8% and buying ENF at under 29$ and waiting for the stock equity swap date to happen. Two option are offered , having the optionality to A) sell ENF at 29$ while collecting the income ( would drip still be in place during that waiting time ) or
B) to swap ENF shares to ENB shares and at what ratio $ value per $ value or share for share fixed ratio at date of announcement ?
What impact will of a rising interest rate will have on ENF shares during that waiting time as ENB shares would probably fall further during those coming months
Thank you
Jean

Q: ENB has a history of shuffling assets between entities / corporate restructuring and it makes an investor wonder if there are bigger problems behind it all given the frequency. If this issue was ever examined in more detail, it would be interesting what details would emerge. I would have thought that 5i would be curious as well. Comments?
Thank you,
Randy

Q: Hi There,
It's events such as the recent ENB transaction with ENF that your subscribers receive excellent advice and guidance. Your team is worth their weight in gold!
1. If the transaction is approved does one get 0.7029 Enbridge shares per ENF share?
2. Is it reasonable to assume the transaction will be approved because ENB has more than 66% ownership in ENF?
3. When is the planned transaction date or timeframe?
4. How would they deal with fractional ENB shares after the transaction?
5. Are there any capital gains or tax issues after ENF gets converted to ENB shares?
6. Has ENB reiterated their dividend growth after these transactions?
