Q: With this stock down to half of its 52 week high, would now be a good time to take a position? Looking for long term hold with high potential upside.

Q: Please explain the significance, or otherwise, of the recent secondary offering. Is QSR now buyable or would you tend to hold, or sell?
Thank you.
Geoffrey.
Thank you.

Q: Can you comment on the Q?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: I am having difficulty making sense of the recent loss for this company. The results appear to be penalized by losses applying to a change in the fair value of debentures as well as derivatives which together are greater than the EBITDA earnings. I was wondering how relevant these are to the company's prospects and whether the resulting valuation justified the fall in the share price. Thank you for your response.
Q: thoughts on the quarter please?
Q: Trane reported good earnings this week but took a drop after reporting. Can you please comment on earnings and why it may have dropped?
Q: I had been thinking about but Tencent for a long time. With the recent bargain basement price, I'm still willing to take a small punt despite the current risk. It's a long term play.
But perhaps I'm too incautious, even for a 'play'. When I tried to buy on Questrade, I got the following message: "You're attempting to buy enter a position in an OTC/PINK sheet listed security. The following risks may limit your ability to sell your position in the future...".
Can you explain what 'OTC/PINK sheet listed security' means. I take this as a serious warning sign but am still tempted to buy under the belief that China would be shooting itself in the foot to undermine the company long-term.

Q: HI
one of the articles in the Globe and mail financial page indicated that next year; there would not be enough supply to the used cars for sale
I already own MG and Linamar, I wonder what other stocks would be a buying opportunity based on the above imbalance of the lack of supply for used cars to
consumers, ACQ has gone up alot in a year
thanks

Q: Hello, with the recent chip shortage do you think this represents a great buying oppurtunity and if so which ETF would you reccommend and why,or risk aside which would be the best companyNVDA,ASML,AMD or TSM and do you think this is a good oppurtunity despite the supply issues, if one of these companies can get an edge on supply i would think the sky would be the limit given the significant demand ....thoughts, thank you for this service and all that you do.

Q: I submitted a previous question about my sister converting her portfolio from a robo manager to self-directed. The last question dealt with the equities side (75%) while this one deals with the fixed income side (25%).
My suggestions to her all come from what I've gleaned from your website, so I'm really asking for confirmation and criticism here.
She wants 10% in gold so I've recommended 5% of Sprott's PHYS.TO and 5% of AEM.TO. We realize these are not fixed income but plan to use them as a long term hold (insurance) and not speculatively. For other 15%, I have suggested VAB.TO and XSB.TO.
Some of her funds are in USD so she could buy US or Global bonds if that would add safety. It seems that would complicate things unnecessarily, a main objective being to keep it simple.

Q: Hi 5i team,
Kindly suggest a replacement with a better growth profile than Parkland Corp for a 10+ year hold in a registered account. Preferably in the Consumer Cyclical or Industrial sector.

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan when buying a stock is there a general rule on where it's better to buy it, in an RRSP account or a TFSA and where would CAE fit in best. Thanks for all your insights.
Q: Can you rank and rate these (10 being most positive) for growth potential over 3 years?
