Q: My son has uninvested $ in his RRSP, and no other investments at all. Can you suggest 3-4 positions to get him started? He'd like something that he doesn't have to pay too much attention to. Thanks.

Q: hello 5i:
We are interested in a smaller investment in convertible bonds, but don't wish to pursue the ETF route; rather, we'd like to choose the higher grade company DBs. With yield being as important as safety, could you give us your top 3 or 4 company debentures at the moment? What is liquidity like with individual debentures?

Q: Hi,
You may have this question already, but if not - what's your assessment of NVDA's earnings report? I know they beat top and bottom, but how hard the management's comments will affect the price longer term I am not sure. I was also unaware of the sec settlement, so if you've anything to add as a comment to that, I would appreciate it!

Q: Dear 5i
The above noted ETFs are the ones i commonly use in my RRSP , TFSA and non registered accts .
CDZ and ZLB are used for CDN content and the rest for US content.
I believe there is probably some redundancy in these and was wondering which ETFs could be left out .
Which ETFs would you use for RRSPs , which for the TFSAs and which for the non-registered acct .?
