I purchased UCTT a while ago and am now down by 55%. It is a minor portion of my portfolio and so I am ok leaving it as is IF it shows promise in the near to mid term. If not, I can sell at a loss and redeploy the funds elsewhere.

Q: Hi. After listening to a 5i podcast about 4 years ago - in May 2021? - I purchased Ultra Clean Holdings. Since then, I’ve pretty much been underwater with that holding by 30% or more (34+ % today). The stock did bounce, I think once, but it was short-lived and I’m still holding. What is in the cards for UCTT if you don’t mind answering a question on an American company. Thank you.

Q: Thanks to 5i, I've done extremely well with NVDA. After the launch of ChatGPT and seeing Elon Musk mention on X how hard it was to get his hands on NVDA's chips, I increased my exposure to semiconductors. Among the trades I made towards the end of last year was averaging down on UCTT, which was also a favorite of 5i. I already had a partial position and was fortunate to buy more near the bottom of 2023. Recently, however, you seem to have adopted a somewhat negative outlook on the company in your commentaries. I'm relieved to see this stock back above water in my portfolio, now with a decent gain. Is there a specific reason or news for the stock's recent catch-up, and should I continue to hold it, or is it still considered overvalued, suggesting I should take my profits and move on? Q: I've got these laggards in a TFSA or RRSP, down between 15-36%! I want to dump a bunch (all?) as I feel I've given them enough time to perform and they haven't. Does 5i see catalysts in the next 12 months for any of these that i should keep some?

Q: I own all of the above US Tech, except ROKU. I was interested in your answer yesterday regarding potential growth for ROKU, all things going well. Amoung these companies, is there anything you would sell to move into ROKU? I don't really want to put new money into more US Tech, but would rather find the right balance in the funds I already have there. Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i Team - I hold the above stocks in three small U.S. accounts. I plan to keep NVDA, QCOM, AMZN, GOOG. My holdings in the other six are minimal due to the general sell-off over the past year: CRWD, UCTT, U, APPS, ROKU, UPST. I would like to combine these 6 into two, three at the maximum. Could you suggest which two or three should be kept. Or might it be best to sell all six and start over with a couple of different ones. My investment focus is growth with a three year timeline. Since it's the end of the week the answer can wait until sometime next week.

Q: Hi Team. I have taxable losses in CSV (-36.5%) and UCTT (-53.9%) I am thinking of selling them and replacing CSV with PLC ( I appreciate the later is C$) and UCTT with MKSI. The switch depends on whether the substitutes have similar expectations going forward. The alternative is to simply sell CSV and UCTT and wait 30 days to buy them back. Which strategy do you think makes more sense at the present time?

Q: I got caught in the recent drop with too much US tech. I have positions in these companies, all down more than 50%. I don't need to consolidate, but could if it means a stronger recovery. Looking toward a recovery in the market, do you see any holdings that have a lesser chance of recovery, that should be sold to add to another position that has a better chance of recovery? Thanks!
