Q: HI There,
Input capital has a offer to purchase the company for $1.75 all cash, and they are hoping to close in October. Management is on board, offer give a good premium to book value. The stock is trading at roughly $1.55. Would you feel there is a good opportunity to purchase and hold for the lift?

Q: Hi i5,
According to "Buffett Indicator", when it's in the 70% to 80% range, it is time to throw cash at the market. When it moves above 100%, it's time to lean toward risk-off. Now Market Cap to GDP Ration > 100% means stocks in bubble territory. Do you think Canadian stocks may also in bubble territory? If US in bear market, do you think the above Canadian stocks which I am holding can be survived? Perhaps, should we start to off load which may be in danger during the bear market into cash, or switch among balance or income portfolio. Any suggestion?

Q: In Sylogist’s recent AGM PR there is a statement that reads: "Resolutions to approve the Company's stock option plan and its proposed amended by-law, did not pass." What was the proposed stock option plan and its proposed amended by-law? I am a bit worried after the massive payout to insiders awhile back. Thanks

Q: Hi Guys,
I have these tech companies inside my portfolio adding up to 40%, please rank them for long term growth (3 to 5 years). I would like to drop this percentage down to 25%.
Are there any MUST sell in this group?
thanks
Jim

Q: Can you comment on Brookfield Asset Management's earnings and information released this morning? Do you see any areas of growing concern or information that would have you reassess BAM's status as a blue chip?
Thanks again.
John
Thanks again.

Q: In the WELL conference call the CEO made reference to this US company in the same space. Do you know if ONEM is a disciplined capital allocator. Or do they just acquire assets, issue a ton of shares/debt and really not the move the per share earnings needle? Does ONEM look like a good investment?
Q: Your comments on NOA , it's debt level, future prospects & whether you see construction moving to higher levels. Thanks ,as always, for your great advice.

Q: Good morning 5i team,
I am a little late reading Q&A. Not a question but a complement of information. Regarding Kevin’s question on August 4th about DOL’s negative shareholder equity: your points are all valid, but my understanding is that this situation on the balance sheet results mainly from their massive annual share buybacks over the last few years. Per share, the cost of the buyback is higher the book value. Thank you for your collaboration, Eric

Q: The only reason they beat with .13 is because they had a "net gain of financial instruments measured at fair value" of $16,499. Last Q, they had a loss.
This number is the reason why it was .13 and not negative.
How valid is this and should this not to be taken out and adjusted to a lower EPS?
Thanks
