Q: Hi, I apologize if this has already been asked - but I am wondering what a Ukraine crisis might do to semiconductors and Nvda in particular (I also have amd and Nxpi). I understand some raw materials used in the chips comes from the Ukraine. I realize it’s hard to say for sure in this market. Also, do you like Nvda at this point? It was disappointing to see it react poorly to what looked like great results. Thanks - and happy family day weekend to the team and readers.

Q: I have to preface this by saying I don't feel the need to be invested in a schizophrenic market. And, have a big preference for stocks with positive momentum.
I am currently 50% invested (5% each) and fairly defensive.
I would appreciate some ideas (Canadian and/or U.S.) to help fill out my portfolio while I wait to get a better feel for the coming year.
Your advice, through the years, helped me to retire early and hope you can make suggestions to guide me through this stretch

Q: I see the US infrastructure plan includes $8 billion to establish hydrogen hubs and enhance hydrogen manufacturing. Since I sold XBC, I have no foothold in the hydrogen space. Is this a good time to invest in hydrogen and can you suggest any possible investments in Canada or elsewhere? Thanks for your guidance.

Q: The above companies are all down considerably in the last few months. Do you see any of them continuing on a downward trend such that it is best to sell now, and take the loss, and invest in something more stable? Or do you foresee any of these companies rebounding from their lows such that they are currently great buy low candidates? If so which one(s)?

Q: I am considering increasing my investments in pipelines. I am looking at Enbridge but I have noticed over the last 3 weeks a number of analysts on BNN when questioned about Enbridge have indicated that although there is nothing wrong with Enbridge they consider that there at better opportunities in the sector - they seem to talking about Pembina & TC Energy. I would be interested to hear your thoughts. I know that your recent review of Enbridge was B+

Q: Given the current debate between the merits of commodity and tech stocks, just for fun, who do you think wins the following hypothetical stock picking contest? Total return.

"Chip" has picked CSU, KXS, DSG, OTEX, LSPD, TIXT, TOI, NVEI, CTS and TCS. "Rocky" has picked TECK.B, LUN, AEM, CMMC, NTR, CNQ, ARX, TOU, WCP, TVE.

I would like to know your opinion for 1 year from now and for 2 years from now. Who wins and would it be a close or a wide margin?
