Piggy backing off one of my last questions on building a solid portfolio from scratch through diversification et al(THANK YOU!). Knowing you can’t get personal; looking for some mid to long term hold recommendations (either US or CA) in the following sectors with growth upside in mind as I have significant cash (250K+) sitting in my RRSP doing nothing. I am currently quite top heavy in Tech – and own the above in registered and non-registered accounts.

If you have several recos for a sector, can you please rank in order of preference. Additionally, if there is a sector that can be put to the side with the idea of prioritizing others, I would be keen to know. Also open to add ETF's to represent a sector. As always, thanks a million. I love your service.

Now that GSY has reached a loan book of $4bill. & has a $6bill. target for the end of 2026, can you make a guess as to what that might mean for earnings? Has there been a relationship on their journey from $1bill. to $4bill.?

Jason D. mentioned whispers CSU is getting set to do another spinoff. Hear anything? Maybe that accounts for current weakness in LMN.

Q: Goeasy plans to introduce a credit card soon to their existing customers and appointed Patrick Ens who comes from capital one with experience in the credit card market.

Q: Stock had a good week - was this mainly as a result of the drop in interest rates? Going forward will growth be organic and or are there potential acquisitions (ex Propel) which could be made? Q: Hi 5I. My largest holding is TD and I am going to reduce it by a third. Reasons are mainly concerns of future US growth because of the money-laundering stain. The potential fine is not as concerning as being shunned by investors resulting in stunted growth in the US. With the proceeds I was thinking of adding to my RY holding and taking a position in IFC. Or should I be looking at another big 6 such as NA or ...? Thanks in advance.

Q: Hi Team,
In reference to a Gsy question answered today you were asked “how high can Gsy share price go? “. An open ended question with no time frame. You answered $250. Is that this years target? Or next years ? As a general rule can it be assumed that a company share price should follow the earnings growth over time? In which case Gsy should be a $1000 stock within 7-8 yrs roughly with today’s earnings growth rate compounded, for example .

Q: Hello Peter,
Other than Jason Donville's negative comments on Propel, could the insider selling be another reason for downward movement of the stock. I do find it surprising that insiders sold quite a bit, at much lower than the peak price. Could this be due to the stock options being vested on that particular date? I would appreciate your comments and thanks for prior responses. Here is the site i am referring to

Q: Is there any particular reason why banks (eg. BNS, TD, RY, etc) won't enter the same "non-traditional lending" market as GSY or PRL? Seems like regular banks have all the infrastructure for it and it sounds like there is money to be made. Do you think this would ever be a possibility in the future?

Q: I view GSY and PRL investment as one sector; what percentage would you split between the two?
