Q: I owned this company a couple of years ago and after a long period of non-performance, I sold it. Last July it took off but now again seems to have gone into neutral - perhaps for another 3 years? This company would appear to have a bright future - global reach, new pilots that require training on new planes and to replace the aging (retiring) pilots and some growth in their medical division. Is this one of those companies that just will never be a great grower or do you think that maybe its time has come? I am already invested in the aeronautics space with a US company (Heico) and EIF so I don't need to buy it but was wondering if you thought there is a compelling case to buy.

Q: In an otherwise well balanced portfolio,and knowing that they are in different sectors, which of the two stocks do you feel has the better
possibility for growth over the next eighteen months to two years. Dividends are not an issue.Their Market Cap, P/E ratio, REO, and price appreciation over the last one year appear to be similar. Thank you for your opinion. Ian

Q: I realize that you're not a huge fan of companies in the marijuana sector and probably don't pay much attention to stocks on the CSE but I'm interested in iAnthus Capital Holdings (C.IAN) which is involved in financing some of these companies (in the US). They recently arranged for an over subscribed $20 million in financing at $2.10, their CEO seems to be experienced and competent and they provided options for management that were $0.50 higher than the stock price was at the time (always a pleasant surprise with a microcap and demonstrating confidence in the business). I would appreciate your perspective and as always, keep up the great work.

Q: Hello,

Looks like Brookfield Properties would like to take out the approximately 16% of the company it doesn't already own.The stock is trading above the $30.10 being offered for the shares/. There are rumours that there is a large shareholder of the remaining interest that is holding out for $33 or higher, do you know anything about this? Is there somewhere where one can go to find out more?

Q: Could you pls. recommend which of the above has the better near term stock price potential, in your view? SCB recently received their banking licence which had been a significant overhang on the stock. Urbana has finally experienced a breakout, and hold a huge position in Real Matters, which is supposed to IPO this spring.

Q: Good morning,
If I sell ADW.A (which I am tempted to do) as I am trying to follow the Income Portfolio as well as the Bal. Eq. Portfolio I will need about a 5% ($35000) position in another equity to replenish the Consumer Staples sector. Currently hold ATD.B, DOL, L, and PBH. Thanks as always for your insightful responses.
