Q: Any reason why the renewable stocks are so weak in 2021?
For example, BEP.UN dropped almost 14% since 1/01/2021, and most other renewable stocks are similarly depressed YTD. I know this sector was up substantially in 2020. What changed? Market sentiments, or due to some more tangible reasons? Thanks.

Q: What do you think of this twenty stock dividend portfolio for a taxable account? I am focusing on high quality and it yields about 3.8% . Any changes you would make?
Q: Have a pool of cash for a big family trip that now is going to be 2 years away. I would put it in a growth name with solid momentum but my spouse will be asking me " what is the trip money at today" on a regular basis so I figure I need to pick something boring and stable... BCE and H seemed like 2 obvious choices. Any Canadian stable div payers screaming buy right now with a 2 year hold in an unregistered account.
Q: Best way to handle dividends for income:
1. Use drips to accumulate & sell shares
2. Take dividends in cash and cash out
3. No difference?
Many Thanks.

Q: The market has reacted negatively to the departure of the president of QBR's Videotron division. Wondering what your thoughts are and - aside from this issue - how does QBR stack up against the other Canadian telecoms - would a switch make sense?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Q: When Roger's takeover bid for Shaw first became public, these shares jumped in value. You suggested the following strategy for investors who held them.
1. Sell one third at that time.
2. Sell one third when the spread between the class A and Class B is gone
3. Sell the last third when the tender is made
Well, now the there is virtually no spread between the A and B shares. Would you still advise selling the second third?

Q: i am being ask to sell BPY and have no choice. I have lots and need do something with money. I was looking for another REITS. I understand few if any will pay dividend of BPY. I do own little bit of etf zre. I have done with & like dividend monthly. I also own banks, utilities, pipelines, railroads plus few other REITS. I am looking for more dividends. I also own too many faangs. I just want to know your suggestions?
Q: Please comment on these and which would be better. Also, any W/H Tax implications in a Registered/Non-Reg account? Thanks so much!
Q: Further to your comments today about Superior, could you also provide the payout percentage and if you consider it a buy today as a new position. This would be more for income than growth. A couple other questions: where does most of their propane go - residential or commercial? How does propane fit into the current "green" initiatives relative to other hydrocarbons?
Thank-you
Thank-you
