Q: I am having a hard time valuing some of these growth companies and when to buy.... I bought REAL ahead of earnings and took a bath.... REAL missed earnings by one penny yet doubled previous earnings and painted a rosy outlook in it's conference call ..... I still like REAL but Mr Market doesn't ......Now I am considering XBC which according to 5I's company report was expensive at $7 a share.... So the question is to buy now { if I can get it under $10 } or wait a week until after earnings ? I am well aware these companies are priced according to the future but would like to minimize at least some of the volatility .... So this is simply a before or after question . If 5I wanted to purchase XBC would you do it now or wait until the earnings report ?

Q: Hello, your thoughts on participating in this IPO? Does their management and technology compare well to their competitors? In this sector, I only own XBC and have done very well, so I'd like to add another. Would this be a worthy addition for a quick pop or long-term hold? This would be less then 5% of my portfolio and I have a high risk tolerance. If not, what sector picks would you suggest. Much thx.

Q: 5i has stated in the past that the above companies have no debt (LNF "very little debt") - is that still the case? If possible, can you please name 5 additional good CAN and 5 US companies that have no debt or very little?
Thanks!

Q: In my TSFA have equal weightings of PHO, REAL, WELL and XBC. Have additional funds to invest and was thinking of following AT, CTS, KRR, MCR, NVEI, or QST. You have suggested ATZ, GSY, or KXS which own most elsewhere to was looking to something new. How would you rank these stocks and would you have any better suggestions?

Q: Small caps have always been a focus of mine and the 5i team has helped me build out a nice group over the last year to complement my core holdings. Can you let me know if your thesis has changed (negatively) on any of these names? Any standouts that you would add to either due to opportunity or valuation if I had more $ available?

Thx as always for your valued advice

Q: Hi team,

What would be your favourite/top growth stock under $5? (in a prior answer you had indicated STC, is this still the case? I do own a 1/2 position at $2.65 as per your prior suggestion...thanks!!)
Favourite/top growth stock under $10?
And favourite/top growth stock under $20?
Assume I have a well diversified portfolio so looking at small/mid cap growth.
5-10+ year holding period.

Steve

Q: For a growth portfolio with high risk tolerance in my TFSA, I’m interested in opportunities presenting in the environmental space. With Biden now in power and a strong ESG movement, I feel this area will continue to see strong investor support for the foreseeable future. I’m overweight in XBC and have a full position in WSP. Could you list and discuss some of your top choices in this area.

Q: First of all, thanks for the service you provide. I have found it extremely useful since becoming a member. Second, I apologize for the number of stocks covered in the question. If it is too many, please do not respond / post.
Within the last 12 months, I have purchased the above stocks strictly for growth or as momentum plays.
I would like to know which ones you would sell, either because their momentum has likely peaked, or because their share price growth prospects are poor. Please deduct as many credits as required. Thanks
