Q: Each of these stocks make up between 2% and 2.5% of our portfolio. I have some cash to deploy and am thinking of adding to one of these. Which one, if any, would you see as a good choice at this time, and why?
Thanks once again for your valuable input. RAM
I currently hold these stocks in an unregistered account. I have journaled over the five companies into a US account for the dividend. I would like to add possibly two more companies that pay their dividend in US funds. I have the rest of the balanced fund and some growth in my TFSA. Any suggestions to add here, and if it results in duplication, what would you remove from the list. I am well balanced and would likely have to sell at least one current stock and could just add the other if you can give me two. Was looking at Nutrien or AQN. Didn’t pull the trigger on AQN last year at 12.5.
Q: Just back from a trip and noticed Peter was on Market Call last week. Tried to access his top picks from that show but the link was taken down. Could you tell me what they were?
Thank you david
Q: I currently own TCL.A and NFI in my RRSP account and underwater by quite a bit and wonder if it would be better to sell one of these stock and buy BAD? I would add BAD but then I will be overweight in this sector as I also own WSP, SIS and CAE.
Thanks
Q: I have half positions in each of these four companies and cash to deploy to bring some to full positions. In which order (best candidate first) would you proceed?
Q: I want to replace this stock AFN down 45 percent with a better stock with a yield and a good backlog. This is in my RRSP. Can you suggest a few replacements I can check out. Thanks.
Q: Hi 5i and team
I presently own WSP which ran up to 5% of holdings and SIS. I'm considering selling SIS and adding BYD.UN and or CAE. That move could bring me to 10% industrial. Should i trim WSP and keep industrial to a prefered percentage or Let it run which brings Me to my other question if allowed. I get confused with all sectors ie: cyclical, non cyclical, defensive etc...i would prefer having 7 if possible. I'd appreciate your thoughts with this.
Thanks for your valuable advice as always.
Q: I hold WSP positions in both my balanced portfolio and also in income portfolio. Both portfolios are "balanced" and diversified. In total, WSP is more than 7% when the two are added up for what is in the two portfolios, although less than 7% in the individual two portfolios. My question is this okay as it is or is there a percentage cap for WSP that I should apply for both portfolios?.....Tom

Q: Hi, I need to increase my Industrial Sector a fair bit. I started with full positions in CNR, FTT and SIS. CNR has doubled but FTT and SIS are both down, SIS quite a bit.
I started with a half position in WSP and it's up a bit.
What would you do here to increase your Industrials
Q: I have some extra cash to add to the balanced portfolio. Can you select 3 of these stocks that present the best purchase opportunities at the moment for a long-term hold?
Q: Dear 5i,
What are your preferred companies in the Industrial sector? The first five that pop into your mind.
Market cap is not a consideration issue, and they can be either on the Canadian or USA exchange(s).
Thank you for all you offer.
