Q: Hello 5i team,

There is such a difference in Nuvei’s adjusted and unadjusted financial results. On an adjusted basis it looks like an incredible growth at a VERY price story. Unadjusted with stock compensation doesn’t look close to the same. What are your thoughts on the adjusted and unadjusted results for this story?

Also, do you have any concerns about the adjusted fcf yield that is used to buy back shares that are issued at part of comp and adjusted out, effectively making the story less profitable?

Thank you!

Q: I understand that you are keen on NVEI as a longterm growth story… could you please explain a bit more about where they fit into the fintech space - eg direct competitors, maybe comparative businesses? Thank you.

Q: Over the last 30 years my best investments by far have been with smallish to medium sized profitable businesses with good long term growth prospects that I have bought and held for 10+ years. Generally market caps of roughly $500 million Cdn. to around $5 billion Cdn. A few have generated 20, 30 times my initial cost. I am wondering about the prospects of each of these following companies producing those kind of multi-bagger returns over the next 10 or 20 years. Would you please rank these companies in order from 1 to 13 according to the likelihood that they will become another CSU, BYD, WSP, TFII, etc. that can be a big, big winner for a long term investor: ATS, ATZ, DOO, EQB, GSY, HPS.A, KXS, LMN, NVEI, TIXT, TOI, TSU, WELL. Admittedly, TOI is a little big at $8 billion market cap.

Secondly, are there any other Cdn stocks in this size range that you would say have that kind of big upside potential, and where would you place them in comparison to the above listed companies.

Q: Can you comment on the ballooning Stock based Compensation given to the CEO
I assumed this compensation was in the form of options which could be said to incentivize management, but that is not the case. They are being compensated in Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), meaning units that could be converted to stock at market value after a certain period, without management having achieved anything. This compensation is in addition to their equity, existing options, and salaries, all of which are substantial. The board essentially gave them free money, no strings attached. I don't know how this could be seen to benefit shareholders. If you know, please tell me

Q: Hi 5i team,

I have a growth and long term outlook and looking to trim some losers and replace with some winners. Of the following stocks, do you feel any need to hold for the long term? Also, what are some US/CAD replacements you would recommend and can you rank from highest to lowest based on overall strength?

Thanks 5i team.
