Q: Interested in your thoughts on Laurentian Bank. The stock price has been in a steady decline for the past year despite a dividend much higher than the Big 5 banks.
Is that dividend safe and how would you rate an investment in Laurentian compared to one of the big banks. Also do you see any prospects for an increase in the stock price.
Thanks as always!

Q: With the change in senior management and the purchase of the remaining 40% interest of Dominion Lending, is there reason to believe that FCF will become more of an operating company rather than an investment company?

Thanks,

Q: Hello 5i,
I have TGT with a good profit and am a value investor for income. It appears overvalued at $82.80. Should I keep it or replace it with your suggestion?

Q: Would you consider msi a buy right now in part because of the Avigilon acquisition ? I see where AVO has a significant new presence in downtown Vancouver. Do you know if this is or has been replicated in other Canadian and USA cities?

Q: Hi 5i team.
I'm primarily an income oriented investor and have over half of my portfolio in cash right now due to selling a house. I have a full position (which is 4% for me) of ENB (through ENB and ENF). I'm thinking of adding gradually building a full position in TRP as well. Do you see enough difference in the two pipeline companies to justify owning both and is 8% too heavy for that sector.
Thanks
Peter

Q: The price of Acadian has languished over the last thee months. Other than sector wide problems has there been other events that would have applied pressure on the market price? Does Brookfield hold a significant position and has this changed in, say, the last three years? Thanks, as always for all you do.
Q: Being retired we look to invest in long term stable companies with a reliable growing dividend. We own a few hundred shares of CU. The share price is lower than it has been for a very long time! We are wondering if you think the low share price offers a good opportunity to purchase some more shares or are there looming issues that could be problematic in the future. CU is part of our utility sector holdings.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: hi there,
Can't seem to bring this stock up from the database. I am looking for a bit of income in the US and have been looking at a few of the Pimco funds. The high yield is a bit scary but its 5 year track record seems impressive. Thoughts?

Q: Can you comment on this company - Q2 earnings were .22 per share versus .63 in Q1.Lots can happen to impact earnings but i can find nothing on my stock services to explain the drop in earnings. I wouldn't have thought that there is seasonality to snack foods but... Is it worth adding to my tax loss selling candidates?
