Q: Hi, I previously asked about PH&N Global Equity Segregated Fund to which you used the F Series as a proxy, and felt it was a good fund. How would you compare this to the Black Rock US Eq Index Segregated Fund (Reg)? Both are offered through Sunlife and have a similar 5 yr return of 12.5% - 13.0%. If it helps, it says the 'underlying fund' is BlackRock CDN US Equity Index Non-Taxable, Class D. The 'underlying fund' for the PH&N fund is Phillips, Hager & North Global Equity Fund, Series O.
Thanks
Thanks

Q: What is the best way to invest in physical gold without actually buying a brick and having to store it? i.e. is there a mutual fund and how does doing this investing strategy compare with investing in a streamer like FNV?
Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i,
What do you think of WBA? Good value or value trap? I was thinking that I could collect the dividends while waiting for the turn around...as long as there will be a turn around! :)
TIA!

Q: Hi,
Waiting on the 30 day period to release-purchase NFI after recording a tax loss. Purchased REAL with the funds from NFI. So far the rise in SP in NFI has equaled the rise in REAL.
Based on the aforementioned, would you sell REAL in order to repurchase NFI, or just keep REAL, based on current fundamentals, without regard to weightings by sector?

Q: Currently my Cdn REIT holding is CAR.UN. What are your thoughts on ERE.UN as a foreign investment? Do they share management to a degree and could this be a negative?
Q: Hi, thoughts on VEXT:CA?
Q: Thoughts on TRUL?
Q: I’m curious as to why MCR is selling off today. There was news today that the estimated cost of the TMX line has nearly doubled. With macro’s spread being reimbursable (one of the few with out a cap from my understanding), wouldn’t this be very positive? (Ie. macro stands to make more then original contract estimates). Is this not one of the cheapest stocks on the Canadian stock exchange based on p/e? Thanks

Q: Q: Hello Gentlemen,
I hold 5.8% of TRP and 4.2% of ENB in my portfolios. Long term TRP has underperformed both PPL and ENB. I consider selling half of TRP (in RIFF) and use the proceeds to take a position in PPL.
Your opinion please.
Thank you,
Werner
