Q: Hi Peter and Company:
I am under water re. above 3 US companies and 1 Canadian. Your advice, sell or keep? If sell, your recommendation with what to replace in growth companies, sector not important.
If keep, why? I prefer to trade if there is something more promising then
long term wait.

Q: I have held MO for over 10 years. It's done very well for me - tripled in value plus dividends. But it's probably time to move on. Traditional tobacco product sales are declining rapidly (not a bad thing to be honest) and investments in JUUL and Cannibis are probably years away from potentially paying off. I'm comfortable with my portfolio make up except for healthcare, which i have no exposure to. I've been looking at ISRG, TMO, BSX and BDK. I'm leaning towards ISRG based on their balance sheet (lots of cash, very little debt),market position, and potential growth but it seems to be in the doghouse after an earnings miss last quarter and it looks expensive on a fwd P/E basis. That said I don't mind paying up for quality. Your thoughts on ISRG or maybe one of the other stocks I listed? Deduct as many credits as you see fit. Thanks in advance.

Q: What is your favorite health care pick for a growth / aggressive growth investor with at least a $1 billion market cap? Perhaps you can list 2 and rank them in order of preference. I'm indifferent as to whether the company is Canadian or U.S., just looking for your favorite growth picks.

Q: Hi Peter and Company:
I am a growth investor, presently down on above 4 Canadian and 5 US companies.
Should I keep, sell, add or replace e.g. GC with TSGI.
Since US market usually outperforms CAN market I am fine buying all best US growth
companies that you will recommend...…..or mixture of US and CAN companies. Long term hold fine but not required. I will trade as required, i.e. when becoming aware of it. E.g. missed selling MX, where I had an nice gain but no alert to sell and now a significant loss.

Q: What are you're thoughts on WBA's earnings. Given the recent selloff would you still hold it for the long term or sell. I do not mind volatility. If it is a sell what US stock would you replace it with for growth. Thanks Chris

Q: ISRG was down about 4% Friday on general concerns about spending and increased competition from J&J and Google amongst others. I’m not sure what the fuss is all about since competition is just a fact of life and to the best of my knowledge neither J&J nor Google have any experience building medical devices.
It’s reported ISRG earned $2.96 a share, missing expectations by 2-11 cents per share. However ISRG reported profit was cut by 16 cents per share due to a payment to the Intuitive Foundation. Is the foundation part of the research arm of ISRG and why a foundation? Would ISRG have exceeded expectations if they hadn’t payed money to the foundation and did the analysis’s anticipate the donation to the the foundation?
I am contemplating buying the dip a little bit or do you think I should hold off?

Q: Hi
What would the BE portfolio performance be without CSU Constellation Software be as holding over time? What if it was a company listed outside of Canada. With this thought, are there any companies outside of Canada that you would consider the same caliber as CSU (same sector is not important to me)? Sorry for the outside of Canada question but I am hoping to add some diversification over the next few years.

Q: 1) Please comment on the current market conditions - going up or down? Dependent on the US/China tarrif talks?
2) If you had $120,000.00 to deploy in the market now what 3 to 5 stocks/ETF's would you buy now in 1)Canada and 3 to 5 stocks/ETF's in the US?
