Q: I am negative on subject three U.S. companies (FSLY, TWLO, ISRG) While these companies may be good growth companies if held long enough, I would appreciate your suggestions of several U.S. and Canadian companies that are likely to have more near term growth, any market segment and I have much risk tolerance. Q: Somewhere in my past I read an article that proposed the idea that an investor should develop a list of 10 companies that are so well managed and poised for long-term growth that they could become a 'hold forever' portfolio. I guess you could call them the 'best of the best companies'. I'm 75 years old which seriously limits the amount of time for my investments to grow, so I have begun to think of my investments as ones that my children would benefit from inheriting.
Keeping all this in mind, I would greatly appreciate it if you would provide me with what you consider to be the absolute best 5 Canadian companies to buy AND although I realize you don't deal directly with American companies, the best 5 American companies to include in the portfolio.

In a bit of a portfolio cleanup in my TFSA yesterday I sold some laggards and reduced my Shopify shares to bring it more in line with my targeted weighting. After completing Norbert's Gambit, I will be deploying the funds to buy US stocks. Please share your 2 or 3 favourite growth stocks for 5+ year hold in each of the following categories: Health Care, Communication Services, and other non-Tech (if you have more compelling options than those listed in Health and Comm Service).

Q: Hello Peter & Team,

Everyone is starting to focus on how to re-open the economy and what it might look like. All Elective Surgeries were cancelled as well all know, and as a result there is an estimated 30,000 patients who have had their surgery put on hold. Catching up on the back-log is going to take a number of years.

The private sector is going to be heavily leaned to help with this catch-up. Do you have any idea which companies and/or sector(s) might benefit from this in the coming years?

Q: I have these equities in my US Margin Account. I would like to raise some additional cash ... just in case. Which of above would you trim first. Are there any which should be sold for a tax loss if possible such as CRM and ISRG, where I am slightly negativ.
