Q: My son is in his early 20s and building a portfolio based on your balanced portfolio. He currently holds 11 stocks. He has no industrials, communications and only TOY in the consumer space. We are thinking of selling ADN from his TFSA and replacing it with SIS or PBH as we know you recommend growth stocks in a TFSA. He also has MX in the material sector. Is this a good plan, not necessary, or do you have another suggestion from the above list that you think is better? Thanks

Q: Goodmorning My wife has approximately 50k in cash in her rrsp that she would like to put to work she is looking for 5 investment ideas for a conservative investor be they ETF or individual companies that pay a 3 to 4 % dividend. She is currently well diversified over all sectors

Q: Hi 5i - I have a half position in BPF.UN (that has done well) and thinking about adding a half position in AW.UN (need some more consumer exposure). You have mentioned its preferable to buy into strength rather than negative momentum - what would you recommend here? Or should I just buy PBH? Thanks, Neil

Q: Hi 5i,

I currently have 14% of my portfolio in materials, which include MX (3.2%), CCL (4.25%), ZCL (3.47%) and AEM (2.84%).

I also have 12% of my portfolio in consumer non-disc, which include PBH (4.85%), DOL (3.47%) and ZZZ (3.2%).

For a growth oriented investor with 30 years until retirement what do you recommend as an appropriate allocation to materials and consumer non-disc? I will need to trim my holdings in each of these sectors to re-balance as I feel I am overweight so any suggestions on what should go?

Q: With the prospect of interest rates rising in the very near future, is it time to lighten up on Reits?

Q: About a month ago, a member asked about the above companies, and you responded that you considered PBH riskier (although not *that* risky overall). In light of the AMZN move, do you still consider PBH riskier? I hold L, should I switch to PBH? For longterm, hopefully indefinite hold. Thank you.
