Q: If I had a little cash today to buy in my RRSP, which has a ten year horizon and generally follows your balanced portfolio, what would you think would be a good name to purchase based on todays activity?

Q: Your answer to Kxs earnings before the call took place was positive. But the stock is down over 6%. What happened that the market didn’t like. I know it’s a bad overall market day but Kxs is leading the way down after decent results.

Q: Hello,

I have small investments in LLY, ISRG, and UNH within the health sector. With the recent news about increased competition for LLY in the weight control product market, should I take advantage of the price decrease to increase my stake in LLY, or would you recommend another biopharmaceutical company?

Q: I'm looking for more momentum in the healthcare sector for the next 3-5 years, at least. I am a long term investor. I currently have ABBV and SYK but am thinking about moving on and buying LLY and ISRG as replacements. Q: ETN is a theme play that is on the move. I'm thinking of selling UNH (considered defensive) and buying ETN even though it is more cyclical in nature. Other healthcare names held are ABBV, ABT, BSX, ISRQ, LLY (starting position), and SYK. Currently, health care makes up 9.71% of the total portfolio compared to industrial at 19.12%......What do you say about this stock change? And other suggestions are most welcomed!.....Tom

Q: At 60 I suddenly find myself semi-retired. Although it's a few years earlier than anticipated, I'm actually pretty excited - I've used the CRA retirement calculator (an excellent tool) and have a solid plan. I do need to make a $150,000 RRSP account last until I am 70 when I plan on applying for CPP and OAS. I want to pull $18,000 per year from the RRSP account a so it does require some growth. Can you suggest a mix of US and Canadian holdings and or etf's (about 50% allocation each country) for such a scenario? Thanks so much.
