Q: Hi Team,
Is it worth holding onto SRAD and Geni much longer? I am taking a bath on both of them for quite a while now. I had thought the gambling sector was "hot" when I bought these, but it seems I had bought at peak and sentiment has fallen off a cliff for the sector ever since. I understand patience may be required, but am also looking at lost opportunity. If you recommend selling them today, what opportunity would you look at deploying the cash into tomorrow?

Q: Hello Team 5i & Everyone,

With regard to the A.I. theme: If you had to pick 9 American stocks to watch that have been already running since 2023 because of A.I., which stocks would they be?

Nividia & Microsoft seem obvious. Maybe VST, AVGO… Gemini provided a list, but I’d like to know what you think please.

I find that the MAGS etf is a simple way to track the big tech stocks, but I’m not sure if the SMH etf would be too specific to track the A.I. stocks/theme?

Q: I know your not crazy about this stock,but looking at it from purely an income play the dividend has already been cut and its pays 7% and other than a couple very temporary blips its basically at an all time low(i know could still drop more)im just thinking i could possibly hold this company between 5.50 and 7.00 for a long time and collect a nice payout and who knows the canadian landscape of these types of companies is getting smaller every year,could be a take out candidate,could you tell me the payout ratio,new management any possible head or tail winds you see in the next couple of years possibly... THANKS

Q: Hi Team,
I hold VHI in my tfsa, down 20% now. Would it be considered a "high grade" move to sell it now and buy CSU now that it is also down as much or more than VHI in the last year? Would my return prospects from here with CSU be just as high as compared to sticking with VHI? Would you advise this move?

Q: hi again:

happy new year to you and the team

this has grown to an uncomfortable 12% position in my family portfolio and i will slowly sell it down to 6-8%

(hopefully before the rebels take over again!!)


today's report looks solid

with this new info, how do the fundamentals look?

and for reference, what would you figure would be a ballpark per share value should this mine be in a safe (r) jurisdiction?

i am curious what you feel is the discount they are priced at by operating in the DRC
