Q: I currently hold MSFT, NVDA, AMZN, and GOOG. All are at a 5% weight, except for AMZN, which is at 3%. I have an additional 2% to invest. Would you suggest topping up AMZN to 5%...or purchasing another tech stock with the additional funds? If the latter, would you please provide three stocks ranked by both risk and potential profit...and explain why you have selected each? Thank you.

Q: Good Afternoon

I currently hold TEAM(even), VEEVE(-10%) TRADEDESK(-10%),CROWDSTRIKE (-35%) and UNITY(-75%). Each of these positions make up less than 2% of my portfolio. Unfortunately there are no tax losses applicable. If you were to consolidate which ones would you keep or in turn what would you buy as a replacement

Thank you

Q: I hold APPS in a USD portion of my TFSA (unfortuneatly) and am thinking to cut my losses. Do you think there would be better candidates that APPS could be swapped for at this time?

Q: Good Morning,

For a 3 year hold, in what order might you considering buying these stocks today? If (theoretically) you already held CRWD and were losing patience waiting for its share price to rebound, might you swap it for one of the other two stocks listed or hang in?

Q: Iam McGugan's G&M article on factor based investing mentioned quality based stocks. Can you name a few in Canada and the US and how would you filter for these types of stocks in a search?

Much thanks

Q: Recently there has been some work done on distortions introduced by excluding stock based compensation from the financial statements. According to one London fund manager adding back $1.8 billion of compensation expenses actually places Intuit's P/E ratio at 43 rather than 28 times, which on the face of it seems worrisome. What is your take on this?

Q: Good Morning,

In my (hopefully) high growth basket of stocks, I would like to do some consolidation. The partnership with TikTok is supposed to be beneficial for Sprout Social, but with the security concerns about TikTok in the recent news, do you think that Sprout will be significantly impacted? If so (or if you no longer like Sprout) in what order might you consider adding to the following: LNTH, APPS, ATZ, INTU, ATD for a 3-year hold? Thanks. Brad

Q: Hi 5i Team,

I’m down on all the above stocks as follows CRWD Down 36%, ETSY down 40%, PINS down 52%, PYPL down 64%, SQ down 72% and U down 77%.

With a 2 to 3 year horizon which of these are worth holding and which once I should sell and can you suggest US replacements and not necessarily in the same asset class. Just good stable companies that have good growth potential to outperform the indexes.

Take as many credits as you feel necessary.

Thanks
Joe

Q: Wow, wild ride lately. I'm looking for some solid companies to tame things down in my portfolio. I would greatly appreciate it if you could recommend some companies that fit the following requirements:
1. Are reasonably valued.
2. Have a solid business model that have protective moats that shied them from competitive threats.
3. Generate strong cashflow and earnings even in a higher interest rate environment.
I'm interested in both Canadian and American companies. Thanks, as always for your support.

Q: Could you please comment on TRI, its valuation and why it defies gravity seemingly independent of its peers? Does it have comparables and what is future growth potential?

Q: Hi team ,
Sq share price continues to struggle in this environment. With a long term horizon is it still worth holding on to this name for better days in tech stock performance? When I had first purchased it I envisioned great growth ahead with its pos and cashless payments systems. Is the story still in tact or are there better names to own at this point? Particularly inside of a tfsa?

Q: I have asked questions about core portfolio and compounders. I would like to refine my query to building a concentrated core portfolio [say, 20 CAD-USD total]. I start with the allocations greater than 5% in the 3 portfolios. BN is less than 5% on its own, yet, I wonder whether it would not be the core Canadian financial stock. As for US, there are many Fav lists, but could you boil it down to 10. For each stock, please provide key rationale for choosing it and a target buy price.
Much appreciated,

Q: In a previous question, you recommended these three stocks which I'm interested in.

My question is evaluating them at their current price. Do you consider them good value at their current prices? What are the best metrics to look at in order to judge this?

Q: I am 100% equity in Canada and mostly ETFs in USA....My plan is to stay that way but I am thinking to try and beat the average in the USA by adding a few individual USA stocks. Can you suggest a few NON-MAMAA stocks that you would consider as good to outperform the broad market in the USA. I have a very diversified and balanced portfolio so have no restrictions in terms of asset class. Not looking for a hot growth stock, but more of a buy and almost forget return booster for my USA investments.
