Q: Hello Peter and Ryan,
Any current thoughts on Sprout Social as to buy, hold or sell? I haven't seen any questions about it since August, and your response was quite positive back then.
Thanks for the wonderful service and all the best for 2022!

Q: Hi 5i team,
I have a 2% position in ATZ and 1.5% in BYD. Both did well, but I'm thinking of more concentrated names in my portfolio. Considering that they are both in the same sector, would it be a good move to have all allocation in ATZ?
Happy holidays!

Brookfield Renewable Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BEPC $46.73)
Q: Hi Peter and team, The entire renewable sector was down substantially in 2021. What is your current view of the sector? In this sector, you seem to favor BEP.un. Interest rate is expected to rise. What is your view on the stock against such an economic backdrop? Is this a good entry point? Appreciate your insight!

PH&N High Yield Bond Fund Series A (RBF7280 $11.80)
Q: Good morning. I have had RBF7280 for decades. It yields 3.43% and has an MER of 1.43. Would it be comparable to XHY which has a higher yield and a lower MER? Is there another alternative that you can suggest?
I don't trade or worry very much since I started with 5i a few years ago. Thank. John

Q: Are we long-suffering customers of BMO Investorline still the only ones waiting to receive our ECN dividend monies?? It was payable on the 22nd. Today is the 29th. I realize we've had holidays, but seriously!
Q: SAFM has been trading in a very narrow range for over 70 days. Would I be correct in assuming that, from a technical point of view, this indicates that a breakout might be coming? Also your comments from a fundamental perspective would be appreciated. Thanks
Ian.

Q: Re your answer to the "Top 10 challenge" of December 24--I can't find GST. Any chance you meant GSY?
Q: dont really get why tax loss sellers wait until last day to sell acuity.
assuming analyst is right and it is too cheap too ignore along with 5i, by the time the sellers can buy it back 30 days later the january bounce will be long over, does not make sense.
can you comment

Q: Yesterday, PYR on the Nasdaq had a wild trading day on no news. It usually trades under three hundred thousand shares a day but yesterday traded almost 59 million shares and at one point was up over 100 per cent and finished up 42 per cent. Can you try to explain what was going on. Thanks
Q: in the USA, what is the final day for tax loss selling to claim on 2021 tax return. Is it trade date or settlement date. In other words, can one sell on DEC 31 and have it apply to 2021 tax return. Thanks

Brookfield Renewable Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BEPC $46.73)

Q: With rising interest rates predicted would it be a good time to include xfr.to as part of a broad spectrum portfilio?
Thanks.

Q: Good morning, I currently have a position in STC inside TFSA. Can I get your current view on the stock? Would you consider this to be a good opportunity to top up? Appreciate your insight!
Q: Some comments on the merits of this company. A happy and Holy Christmas to all you staff and a sin ere thank you for your great and affordable service.
Q: Yesterday eit.un announced the following special distribution of 44¢/share
"The estimated special distribution will be paid by issuance of the same class of units of the fund, and immediately thereafter, issued and outstanding units of the fund will be consolidated such that the number of issued and outstanding units of the fund will not change."
Why do they not just pay the unit holder the cash? Do I end up with more units/fewer units? Why do they do it this way?
Many Thanks

Q: SMG was a top pick on BNN this week. It seems to be a good time to buy at this price. As well as having quality lawn care products, they are a pick and shovel type of company for the cannabis industry. It seems like they have lots of growth potential. Comments please and thank you.
Q: I am tired of having to figure out which companies will do well. You, yourselves produce 3 different lists (i.e. grown, balanced...) of about 20 stocks each. You must be tired yourselves.
I/we don't need to have many stocks. I/we only need one. Please provide us a stock that will go up forever. Only one.
Happy holidays!! :)
