Q: TV recently announced:

Trading of the Company's shares has been suspended since August 22, 2022 as a result of the Company filing for protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act ("CCAA") and this suspension will continue until the delisting takes effect. In addition to the TSX delisting, the Company expects its common shares will also be delisted in due course from the other exchanges on which the common shares currently trade.

Shareholders retain their legal rights and equity interest and are advised to contact their brokerage where shares are held regarding retention policies for unlisted shareholdings and potential for shares to trade in over-the-counter markets.

Can you please guide me as to what my options are.
1) are the shares I hold virtually worthless or is there a decent possibility that if I hold onto them I will receive something? what would you put the odds of getting something at and what do you think it would be relative to their last closing price of $.205
2) If I wanted to sell the share in the "over-the-counter" market they refer to, how do I do that
3) if it were you, what would you do?

Thank you for your advice

Scott

Q: I am looking to offset some capital gains received this year from PEO and PHO (thanks!). Currently I have the following holdings in a loss position, in order of dollars down: TDOC, TV, XBC, HAL, XEG, NFI, SQ, TECK.B, XTC, WELL, ENGH, PLTR. I would need to sell the first six to fully offset the gain, or could sell more if using those in a smaller loss position. How would you rank these holdings in order of selling, and which of these would you look to buy back after 30 days (if any)? Note that these are held within a broad portfolio that I am also looking to consolidate.

Q: In another lifetime, this stock was much higher with zinc at high prices and a “ transformative “ deal with Glencore was happening. Zinc prices are moving higher again, now at around $1.30 /lb with TV hedging 25 % production at $1.23 /lb..
So is this stock set to rejoin the commodity play or are its glory days behind it ?
Thanks Derek

Q: I believe TV is being hit hard by tax loss selling and may now be way oversold as it is hitting all time lows. Your comments a few weeks ago were that the balance sheet is fine, It is very cheap on a cash flow basis, and production is good. Costs are improving, and the company is targeting a further $50M reduction in costs. You did caution that as a small market cap, down 58% in a year, you thought it may stay weak into year end. I am a patient, long term investor so short term pain does not bother me, but before I invest I always like to get your opinion. My questions are:
1) do you still believe TV is financially sound and will survive?
2) with tax loss selling and negative company/sector sentiment being reflected in the all time low stock price that TV may be setting itself up as a good/excellent risk/reward investment?

Many Thanks
Scott
