Q: Do you consider these companies a buy and if so at what price point would you purchase them?
Q: Two companies in different sectors. My intent is to adjust my weightings. Which company:
- Has the most favourable debt situation (acknowledging that TRP is a bit different being utility-like) ?
- Has the best total return potential in the long term?
- Has the best moat if it exists?
- Can withstand the present rate environment better - assuming rates don’t drop any time soon.
Thanks.

Q: I did reorganize all my portfolio for a dividend focused portfolio , and already did sell most of the stocks for selected ETFs ,except the 12 stocks mentionned.I wish to only keep 12 "financially safe stocks" on long term + at low risk of dividend cut.If those 12 stocks do not all match this objective, wich ones could be sold and then replaced by what individual stock suggested ? regards,JY
Q: Please comment on the earning . Is SHOP growth slowing ? Thanks a lot.
Q: I sense some ambivalence in your regard for NTR. I have an existing position in NTR, well above break even and am thinking this might be a good time to bulk up. Wait or buy? thanks

Q: What are your favourite companies for long term holds with strong balance sheets that are attractive from a PEG perspective today? Can you please list 5 US and 5 CAD? Thanks
Q: Purchased this stock earlier this year in a registered account. Down about 20% in a few months . Timing was not good. Should keep the stock for long term or move on. Prepared to hold. Thoughts ?
Q: In a recent answer concerning NTR you mentioned it is trading at 9.6x Forward P/E. Where do you find a company’s forward P/E? Do you calculate it using the numbers pertaining to the company found under the Market Data tab? If so what numbers do you use? Thanks … Cal
Q: Are the strikes going to boost or lower Nutrien’s stock price in the short/term-long term…trying to get my head around he supply/demand logistics. Thank you.
Q: What are your thoughts on these two underperforming stocks - are they buys, sells or holds. Thanks. Rick
Q: I am low on materials stocks, with only FNV in my current portfolio. I am wondering about adding either BHP (about to become a significant potash producer) or NTR. Do you have a preference, or is there another choice that you think would be even better?
Q: This question concerns the materials sector in a well-diversified Canadian portfolio (~30 holdings), focused slightly toward growth. Our target is for a 5% weight in this sector.
Currently the sector is underweight at a 2.5% allocation with NTR being the only holding. We are open to either doubling up on NTR or adding an equal amount of SJ. Which would be your preference and why?
For each of NTR and SJ Please rate (1-10) in terms of your conviction to buy today, along with suggested target buy range [great, okay].

Q: Good Day Team 5i: If I needed to raise cash , Which of these would you advise I sell at current prices ? I am a retired income and growth investor.Tellus down 5%, nutriune break even, and Tc energy break even.
Q: So here we have this company back to where it was trading 2 yrs. ago. You have at a buy and say it is cheap, it was this cheap 2 yrs. ago. I am from a farming family and this company just took advantage of farmers with the war in the Ukraine and not knowing what was going to happen, there was no shortage of fertilizer, you just had to pay up for it, the same as the stock if you wanted to own it. Now the farmers are dictating the price and what you see is the fall in NTR stock. It is just another another example of fert. co. and chem. co. that have taken control of our farmers on input costs, and they are not happy.
Thanks Again
