Q: Hi 5i,

I'm new to the service and joined with the hope of finding an unbiased second opinion on my portfolio of stocks. I had the good fortune of purchasing in my TFSA SHOP ($1200); LSPD ($26.31); SE ($149); MELI ($769.45) and continue to hold. This year, not so good, I had purchased REAL ($18.16); ABST ($13.79); AT ($10.36) which with the exception of MX are all currently in the red.

My problem is that given my current YTD is at -13% I should probably shake up the TFSA. However, when I look at each stock individually I just can't bring myself to sell, I love the growth potential of them all.

I'm (obviously) ok with volatility in my portfolio and I do not anticipate needing the funds for 3+ years. I would appreciate your thoughts or ranking of these stocks in terms of growth potential from this point forward. Are there better stock opportunities I should consider out there for my TFSA ?

Q: Would you rather hold 1 position in NVDA or the equivalent of 1 position in a "basket" of FLGT, MELI, AFRM, and ABCL?

Q: How does a Uruguayan payments co. Such as DLO stack up against such firms as STNE, PAGS, or, to a lesser extent, MELI? Thanks for your excellent input!

Do you think finances are a good recovery play? Do you like BAC as a finance play?

What sectors companies do you like?

2020 was good to me as i was all in tech.

Q: Currently have full positions in AMZN, SHOP and SE. What is your view of MELI? Would you advise peeling off 10-15% each to invest in MELI at todays market prices? How would you rank for growth over next 3-5 years?

Q: I'm curious what your favourite emerging market companies are right now (that can be bought on a US exchange). I currently own MELI and am looking for some other ideas in the tech space. Or can you suggest an etf?

Q: Hi 5i Team,

Several websites that comment on stocks rate Mercado Libre (MELI) very highly. I know you don't follow international stocks as closely as Canadian securities, but you do have access to a Bloomberg terminal and perhaps other paying stock research sites. I'm hesitating to buy MELI because it has risen so much in the last year and the probability of a reversion to the mean or a drawdown is that much greater today. Are my concerns misplaced with this company?
