Q: Hello,
For a TFSA with a long term horizon (5+ years) would you please rank these companies, keeping in mind their current valuation?
Also, are there any that you would shy away from/not consider?

Q: Hi,
As a South African, I have had an affinity for Gold and Gold stocks over the years. I knew about the Krugerrand when I was just a child, lol. However, I have to say that I have never really made money from holding onto gold stocks. I own KL, AGI and BTO and except for KL i am losing money on the other two. If I can’t make money in this environment of excessive money printing and low interest rates , I wonder when I ever can. Over the years, I have been disappointed with gold stocks, with a buying and hold strategy working in my disfavour and waiting 5 years to just then break even. I do have a diversified portfolio and thanks to 5 I for some of the great ideas. Your comments are appreciated?

Q: Which 5 Canadian and US companies would 5i want to be holding when we get a significant market moving vaccine/treatment announcement? Tech and gold have been powerful during the pandemic but I want to make sure I am considering the right companies to add to provide balance if tech pauses and different sectors are needed for a leg higher. Your favs in each market and how/why you see them reacting to the announcement. Multiple credits are assumed.

Q: I would like your thoughts on this company. Looking forward 1-5 years in regards to the safety of the security's dividend (current yield close to 7%). Debt rating agencies giving positive comments seem to support a solid status. Also any comments you might have comparing POW versus Power Financial in a non-registered account.

Q: In response to the question about the risks of owning QTRH in your TFSA on the US side trading on the OTC, my understanding was that Securities that trade on OTC markets are not allowed within a TFSA and that you could have to pay penalties and be subject to additional tax reporting requirements if you hold these securities in a TFSA. They may want to double check to make sure that this applies to a stocks that ONLY trade on the OTC as QTRH trades on the OTC as well as on a major exchange so it may be ok to hold in a TFSA?.
