Q: Electrification seems to be a big theme going forward. Can you suggest some companies, large and small cap, and any utilities that stand to benefit the most from this . I would assume Hammond would be a beneficiary.

Q: I have a large (15-20%) holding in CSU, as it has grown really well. They say to keep running with your winners; as I continue investing, would it be better to continue slowly adding to my CSU position, or to work on diversifying my portfolio? If diversify, I am obviously looking for other stocks that will compound at a high level over the long term. At today's valuations, in which order would 5i recommend buying these other stocks? Similarly, to diversify, does it make sense to sell some CSU to reinvest in any of these other stocks? Thank you so much!

Q: I have narrowed down 4 choices of Industrials to add to my portfolio: DRX, HMM.A, HPS.A and BYD. The reason is they are all currently under valued compared to fair value according to Morningstar.
Please rate these 4 in descending order of confidence. Preference is growth in the next 3-5 years. And also please include suggested entry price. Thank you very much.

Q: Follow up on your SBC comment on HPS:
there is nothing in the SBC situation that should be of any surprise here. If options are granted then there are consequences.
My point is: management is fully aware already of SBC impact so why would they wait for quarterly results with disclosure?
Don’t they have a duty to disclose material information impact ahead of the results?

Q: There was a report on the news that Ottawa Hydro needs build a substation every year now instead of every five years. This is due to population increase but also due to EVs and heat pump installations.
This is of course not unique to one city or Canada.
Who would benefit from this increase demand in infrastructure build up?

Q: Hi, These two stocks are off their recent lows but still trading significantly below their 52 week highs. Based on your comments, their valuations are still attractive compared to the historic average and their peers. Are there any near term catalysts, in your view, which could propel the stocks higher, back to their glory ?

Thank You

Q: Hi, All above stocks have been beaten down over past few weeks, after a strong run. They are now trading at much lower valuations compared to their larger industry peers in Canada and US. Power Infrastructure, Construction, Industrial and Banking sector have been in a steady uptrend for most of this year and growth is expected to be solid in the foreseeable future.

Just wondering, if they are simply following the trend in US markets where small caps continue to lag the market. What are your thoughts and do you see the trend reversing anytime soon ?

On a different note, ADF Group stock is now trading below $17.31 ( price at which the owners sold some shares recently } and Terravest trading below the recent secondary at $74.25. Some investors seem to be freaking out ?

Thank You

Q: Hi, Hammond Power stock is now tracing back to the levels, traded at, two quarterly earnings ago, down to $98, from a high of $160, not long ago. Apparently, the sell off was caused by some stock compensation concerns and profit taking. From business, operations and financial perspective, company seems solid and stock, now trading at a low valuation of 16/17 times forward earnings ( I believe ). With power/electricity consumption and infrastructure demand , expected to multiply exponentially ( AI/Data Centres etc ) over several years, market for company's speciality transformers should continue to be strong with a long runway of growth.

Analysts are still quite bullish on the co. with price targets ranging from $156 to $167.

So, in your opinion, what could be the basis of the continued weakness in its stock price ?

Do you believe that stock will be higher, say 50%, in 2-3 years from now and should be bought/added aggressively at these depressed levels ?

Thank You
