Q: I have been holding Well for a while now and while dissapointed in the share price I am not dissapointed with the financial results. Allways they could be better but I felt the company is moving in the right direction. I'm struggling with "market sentiment" and how to include this in my investment decisions.
It feels like if I could get a handle on this I could get in front of a stocks ups and downs and adjust my position accordingly.
I'm not expecting a definitive answere but just some advice how to value and navigate "market sentiment." Thanks John

Q: Dear 5i
I need to increase my international exposure substantially . What 1-2 ETF's would be your top choices for this . What would your choice be for a basic material ETF ?
Thanks

Q: Hello 5i,
On April 26 in an answer to a question from Rob you said LMN lost $2.8billion due to a non cash adjustment on CSU preferred shares conversion.
My question is: Will this event be repeated? If so, how often?
The optics of "losing" $2.8 billion generally doesn't sit well with investors.
Thanks
Dave

Q: Hi Folks,
I would like to add to my holdings in either MSFT or GOOG in my RRSP account. May I have your opinion as to which one you feel would be the better choice at this time.
Thanks

Q: Hello,
General best practice question here on portfolio diversification based on a question asked many years ago.
1. If you were starting fresh with an equity portfolio, how many names would you choose and would they all be equal weight by name? Within that number, would you have a recommendation investing in a set number of ETF's?
2. Would you recommend adding stocks across each of the 10-14 sectors (or prioritize specific ones) and apply the same weight?
3. In terms of tax benefits, would you tend to hold US stock in a TFSA or RRSP? I seem to read conflicting views.

Q: Good afternoon,
Any views as to what is going on with CPX today? I have been a long term holder, and would love to know your view on the company in the current context - sell, hold, or accumulate?
Thanks as always

Q: I see that todays news of a huge contract to supply Microsoft has given some life to the share price. But the share price is still quite low compared to a year or two ago. I am having trouble judging how much value the contract adds I would think a contract of this size will quickly give a much stronger boost to the stock, even though some of the contract is a few years away.. How much value does it add, in your opinion? Is the share price too low now? i already have a full position, but I'm thinking of adding more
Q: good day to you
what is your opinion about this company and would you add after todays surge ?
thanks for your super service

Q: What did you think of their earnings? I finally bought a starter position on the recent dip. Would you be ok adding here?

Q: Thx for your answer earlier on results but I forgot to ask about your forward valuation and opinion on holding, and or buying more at a certain price level.

Q: I am in a quandary on what to do with esb shares that I have. I don't understand how the underlying stocks have doubled but the unit value of esb has FINALLY gotten up to a point where they are paying $.10 a share. I have no idea why the nav has taken so long to get to over $5.00. I fear that the shares will not hold their value, my cost is $.80, thinking about selling and buying some mid cap oils, like tve or bte, what are your thoughts
Thanks
