Q: Hi 5i team,

I recently opened an RESP DI account with Questrade for my 1 year old son. Could you please give me couple suggestion to invest on at current level? I am okay with either EFT or single stock and I have long term time horizon 10+ years.

Q: To my previous question on why some analysts are showing the third quarter EPS of DOCU as (-) 0.58$/share, your reply was beacause of different ways of calculating it- adjusted or non adjusted. Is the street expectation of EPS based on adjusted or non adjusted figures? Even then, I am a sure that values of EPS arrived through different accounting standards, would not be the same numerically. Here, it is + 0.58$ as reported by DOCU( including 5i) and negative 0.58$ reported by some analysts like Scotia . Please enlighten me if I have misunderstood something. Thanks.

Q: Is it better to invest in equal weighted index ETF rather then index ETF?

My concern is that high concentration of handful highly successful companies in regular index based ETF that defeats the safety of diversification offered by ETF.

What is your opinion?

Q: Fortitude Gold is a 2020 listing with a dividend, low P/E, and properties in the U.S. (i.e. as opposed to politically risky areas). Would you buy it? Which options in the gold space would you prefer? (Preferably low/no debt, strong B/S & dividend)

Q: Top 3 favourite O&G to hold irrespective of portfolio mix. Canadian or US or international. Large, mid, or small cap. Doesn’t matter upstream, midstream, downstream. Just what 5i likes now and briefly why. Maybe an honourable mention if you have one.

Q: I would like to add to my consumer defensive. I currently have PBH and DOL at 3% each. I could add a new 3% position or add to the two above. What do you think for a 3-5 years term? Q: Shop is being sued by publishers accusing them of textbook piracy. How much is this weighing on the stock price now and should it be much of a concern? It is troubling that this puts a bad light on SHOP since it is reported that this concern was brought up to SHOP several times in the past with SHOP basically ignoring it.

Q: Hello 5i team:

At this particular time, which ETF do you think worth buying? US based XLE or Canadian based XEG? Is there a ETF based on Europe or the rest of the world?

Will you underweight or overweight energy in one's portfolio? I know in the US energy doesn't play a big role. But in Canadian index, they do.
