Q: Do you recommend AMD now, and if so, why? Is the P/E ratio too high?

Q: Am retired so my cash portfolio is full of banks, utilities, Brookfield cos, etc.. No materials , so looking at dipping my toe into this sector with either LIF or WTE. Re LIF : the metrics for iron ore are good ,China slowdown negative, US infrastructure program positive ?
Re WTE : Jimmy Patterson a strong shareholder , well run operator, moving more potash, less coal through its terminal ?
What is your opinion on these two companies ?
Balance sheet strength ? Would you recommend one over the other , both or neither for my purpose ? Thanks. Derek

Q: AMD The perpectives for this stock are sometimes contradictory. Some analysts see it as as a promising competitor of nvidia with a great future. Others on the contrary are very more sceptical...about a possible sustainable performance. What are you appreciation on a 2-3 years range? Thank you very much

Q: I cannot find SCHC (Schwab International Small-Cap Equity ETF) in the database.

This US-listed ETF is about 20% Canadian stocks and 80% outside North America. When held in an RRSP my understanding is that latter (outside NA) is subject to foreign withholding tax. But what about the Canadian stocks, any withholding tax?

Q: Hello, I have bought these during Covid and now >70% down. They are in TFSA and RESP so I can’t claim the tax loss. I don’t need the money for next 5 years in RESP, and can hold for long time in TFSA, would you suggest holding them or take a loss and use the rest of the funds somewhere else (VRT or GOOGL)? Q: Hi, I'm thinking of gradually reducing my individual stocks and moving into etfs for an all around set it and forget it roughly $3 million portfolio for someone retiring in the next few months. Can you give me your suggested etfs and percentages to hold to accomplish this balance? A chunk of these funds are not invested yet so I'd also like to know how you would suggest deploying these funds? Would you edge in gradually over a period of time or just get the money working? I'd really appreciate any advice you could give me in this format.

Q: Hey team 5i: I’ve paid the price for hanging on to my Lightspeed LSPD shares. I bought into the company in the Spring of 2020, watched it reach its peak of $160.00 plus, per share and yes; was foolish enough to keep the shares during its massive decline, thinking the Company could fight off the Shorts, in much the same way Shopify did a couple of years prior. Anyway, I wish I could say you live and learn, but I just can’t seem to grasp that skill of when to sell! I’m encouraged with the recent change of leadership, but not all that confident that Dax Dasilva can make the changes necessary to bring the stock price back to where it once was! / I’ve been watching Vitalhub Corp (VHI) over the past # of weeks and note the positive commentary as it relates to it being a stock to watch! / Would it be a wise decision to sell my LSPD shares and buy into VHI? / Thank You in advance.
