Q: PHYS.U is traded in TSX in USD and PHY.US is traded in NYSE. Are they basically the same? What are the differences between them? Is the one traded in NYSE considered as US situs property for estate tax purposes of being domiciled in the USA? Thanks. Have a good day guys!

Q: Hello Peter, any ideas about recent sell-off in RCI.B? I read some news about the back to school promotion intensify between RCI and Shaw's Freedom. Considering overall rate dropping backdrop, do you think Telecom sector is at bargain compared to other "safe" sectors (e.g., Utilities, REITs). THANKS!
Q: Hello! For a 60 yr old dividend investor, would you pick crt.un or ctc? Also, why is ctc so thinly traded? Thx!

Q: Greetings 5i,
Looking for global Reit exposure. Thoughts on REET:US would be appreciated as I am attracted to the higher yield. Any other suggestions or perhaps a CDN denominated global reit you also feel comfortable suggesting.
Cheers!

Q: Is it too late to buy gold stocks? If not which stock you recommend at current price?
Q: Any idea why Shop is down so much today and what do you think of its prospects in the next year?
-
Shopify Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (SHOP $163.63)
-
Lightspeed Commerce Inc. Subordinate Voting Shares (LSPD $16.97)
Q: You have always said that LSPD is very expensive and more risky than other stocks.
Also that it trades at 15X sales
For the last 3 years, haven't you said the same with SHOP which has gone from $50 to over $500 in 3 years time? Shouldn't we ignore them being expensive and just buy them? Of course, in a downturn, they will be hit the hardest.

Q: Good Day Team,
Presently I have no REITSs in my portfolio, so hoping to add some.
What is the best step to take?
Put equal amounts in all 6 stocks listed or put in priority order with certain percentage in each. I have $5000. to invest in REITs.
Secondly, what order would you put them in, from best to the lowest.
Lastly, is there any REIT that you would change or add that may be better.
Please use extra credits as needed.
Thank You,
John G.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan and Team,
In my TFSA, I have some cash on hand and own the following stocks FTS, KXS, PBH, PHO, SIS and WPK, that are about equally weighted.
In light of the talk of a potential downturn at the moment, would you advise to add to any of the positions or should I open another position in some stock that you would recommend or should I just wait?

Q: I realize these are very different stocks, but I hold both and want to sell one of them. Which has the best:
- management,
- balance sheet,
- prospects over both the short term and long term
- the best relative valuation?
Thanks.
Jim

Q: If this company is held in an RRIF are taxes still paid by the RRIF holder given that the company is a LP?
Thanks, Tim.
Thanks, Tim.
Q: The stock has fallen off a cliff and for good reason. Management has executed poorly and badly missed many of their objectives. And they continue to sing a heck of a good song on their cc's. The cc was full of promotion and hot air. Much of the commentary was particularly greasy, including the comments about the impending financing. How can 5i continue to recommend a company with a management team so objectively lacking in credibility? Is this not the profile of a company deserving of a rating below "C"?
Q: Bought CAE 3 wks ago down 8% already You endorsed this stock as stable in the present environment What gives ready to push the sell button and move on what your thoughts ?
Q: Hi,
Could you provide more detail with regards to an earlier comment on COV "The company is discontinuing any guidance on the Middle-East contracts". I'm unsure what is meant by this comment.
Thanks.

Q: Greetings,
I currently own ZWH, XQQ, and VUN as part of my US focus in my portfolio. I am looking to add another name or two. Time frame 5+ years. I prefer to remain with Canadian ETFs investing in the US. First of all, do you see too much overlap here? I have room to add to all 3. Can you provide 3 stable dividend ETFs you might suggest to add and a couple of growth ETFs that might complement my current holdings? Thanks in advance. KEN

What do you think of the low volatility ETF's especially in our current environment? Do recommend them as part of a balanced portfolio?
