Q: I have the following investments and I am wondering which ones would be good for long term investments? I am 30 years old. This is for my TFSA. I would be okay with USA and Canadian investments for medium to high risk.

Q: So many members ask questions where they ask you to rank a number of companies which they suggest. Let me change that up a. bit. Please rank the top 10 Canadian companies that YOU think have the best chance of yielding the highest returns for 5i members In 2026. Perhaps an unfair question but I"m curious.

This was a question asked earlier which seems quite popular. Can I ask the same question for US stocks

Apart from the market fixation now on overspending on AI which costs a bundle and may not generate more profit, I read somewhere an analyst making a parallel between GE (pre-separation in 3 separate entities) and the 3 members of the Mag 7 listed above. He says they may be going the way GE did when the market started pricing conglomerates the way it did for the last 15 years which consequently brought GE to a very low multiple. What did it for GE, he says, was being involved in different and unrelated businesses, for one, and one strong entity pulling the weight of costly money losing members for another. He says it is also true especially in the AMZN and GOOG cases. What do you think? As always thanks for your strong insight, Adel.

Q: Microsoft and Amazon are launching AI content marketplaces, where people and companies can buy, sell, or license AI‑generated content. Are you able to expand on the implications of this? Can you name a few companies that might be negatively impacted? Thank you.

Q: I have watched many Youtube examples where jobs can be replaced with AI, whether it's call centers or financial analysts where Claude filled in forecasts exactly as an analyst would have. What stocks would you identify as leveraging the AI technology the most in the future? I would buy Anthropic if they were public (may occur this year yet). I'm assuming Google, Nvidia, but am I missing any? For example, Propel Holdings Inc uses AI... I would think that this would make Propel ahead of the game and be a very smart investment today.

Q: I have a LIRA account and don’t plan to make any withdrawals for the next 15 years. I’m looking for “buy-and-hold” stock and/or ETF investment ideas that would suit this long-term timeframe.

I’m open to a mix of individual stocks and ETFs, across both Canadian and U.S. markets. Given the long horizon, I’m comfortable with experiencing periods of market volatility.

With regard to the A.I. theme: If you had to pick 9 American stocks to watch that have been already running since 2023 because of A.I., which stocks would they be?

Nividia & Microsoft seem obvious. Maybe VST, AVGO… Gemini provided a list, but I’d like to know what you think please.

I find that the MAGS etf is a simple way to track the big tech stocks, but I’m not sure if the SMH etf would be too specific to track the A.I. stocks/theme?

Q: I have a resource, bank and reit focused portfolio with very little tech exposure (apple). I'm considering a position in both google and amazon. Do think this is as good a time as any to buy and how much of a position would you recommend?
