Q: I'm looking for TFSA investment suggestion.
Possibly and all in one ETV to keep it simple but not necessarily.
Ideally more aggressive as I don't plan on touching it for a long time, possibly to even leave this as inheritance in my estate (I'm 60).
Any guidance you can provide is appreciated.

Q: What do you think of Equitable Group, a non mortar bank ( small volume ) . Was doing well on the market but seems to have fallen out of favour recently . Am I better off with the regular banks or is this a hold ?

Q: I am down about 15% on Tourmaline and am considering selling for tax loss reasons. Is there a good proxy to hold for for the 30 day period before repurchasing? Or would consider just holding on?

My portfolio is not well-diversified. I am 39% invested in BMO. Luckily, I have done well over the last 20 years and get about 4.8 % in dividend yield. Everyday I think about trimming but I have not got the heart to do so.

I would like to trim and diversify into other stocks (CAD/US) or ETFs that have potential to grow faster or counter balance a downturn in financial. I do not mind a lower yield.

Which stocks/ETFs would you recommend today if I could trim 10-15% off my investment in BMO.

Q: AVN is scheduled to spud their first three wells for helium next week. Their NR states that estimated un-risked and undiscovered potential of between 1.4 and8.9 billion cubic of recoverable helium. First question how can it be un-risked and undeveloped at the same time. Second if successful is that a substantial strike as far as helium goes.

Q: I know you don't dig deep into Europe. I have a small position in NVO and am up 50%.
Debt, ROE and P/E look ok. Weighting aside, does this look like a good time to add to my position?

Q: My question is simply, when to sell ? I acknowledge market timing is impossible and most portfolio managers say stay invested for the long term. Somewhat cynical as believe that such advice is driven primarily by compensation and relative performance issues, issues which retail investors are not subject to. Most of my assets are in taxable accounts with concentrated positions, especially in the FANG stocks. It’s been a good run and inclined to sell the lot, pay the tax and wait for the dip. I have no doubt that these stocks will be significantly higher in 5-10 years, but I also have no doubt that there will be a dip where if patient you can acquire for a lot cheaper, ( prime example is Apple and Meta). Not looking for individual advice but retired which obviously impacts the length of the runway or exit ramp. Thx

Q: I struggle with the whole concept of "green".
The whole thing is driven by politics, not market forces.(making "dirty" fuels artificially expensive so that subsidized "green" energy can compete).
Here is my question: Yes, there are strong ideologies pushing this, but unless "we" adopt socialist command economy wholesale, market forces must eventually prevail?
"Green stocks/ ETFs are up, but buying them seems to me betting on a lame horse.
Would appreciate your take on this, and also if holding BAM.A could be considered a compromise. They seem to be gung- ho for "green" investments. Am also looking at PBW, but don't like the price.
My interest in this subject is limited yo next ~5 years.
