Q: Thank you for answering my question yesterday. You guys are the best. If you could choose 5 ETF's for a 40,000 RESP for a 8 and 10 year to hold and continual buy for the next number of years - which are they?
I appreciate it,
Brent

Q: I have some U.S. cash to invest. I feel the U.S. market is going a little bit lower over the next few weeks and this will provide a great opportunity to capitalize on. Which of the above would you consider to have the best outlook ( or would you suggest buying a little bit of all four )??

Q: I have a large cash position and am starting to re-deploy. Would like to take this opportunity to acquire a stronger US stock presence than I previously held. I am looking at about 40-50% in US to add to what will be a balanced diverse portfolio of Canadian stocks - many of 5i recommendations. I am happy with some overweight in tech .
I plan on putting in limit orders at lower prices than current and have my own price area for each identified, but as a "reality check" would appreciate some feedback from you as to what you think could be "suggested" buy prices on each stock.
Also, is there anything you would add to the list as Strong buy suggestions. Or anything you would delete from the list that you feel would not show a positive return in the next 1-2 years.
Thanks for getting out your crystal ball on this and congrats for coping so well with all the noise !

Q: I currently own IHI and GOOGL (only about $8000 in each} and with the recent severe downturn am looking at adding additional funds ($16000) to my portfolio. Am considering MFST and/or ESLT or would you recommend just adding to my existing holdings. These funds are in an non-registered account.

Q: I started picking away at these names a week ago and bought half positions in each (I'm always too early!!). I'll probably look to buy the other half in each this week if we get more spikes to the downside. I'm a relatively longer term holder (say next 5-10 years at least). With respect to IHI I usually stick to individual stocks but took a look at the top 10 holdings and decided they were all good companies so just bought the ETF. Do you see any issue holding these names?

Q: Hi, I've held ISRG for a few years now, am up 25% but was honestly expecting more. It's traded largely sideways since Sept of 2018. 5i and I both seem to have similar (great) expectations for this company, but they just can't break $620 or so.

I'm tempted to dump ISRG and pick up some IHI which includes a number of other seemingly great companies that are on my watch list. However, I keep thinking ISRG is on the brink of its next big leg up. From my research, I have ISRG at the bottom of its long term channel - which if it holds - would have stock price growth at 40% from here...

Help me decide: hold (even add) to ISRG, or dump it and pick up IHI. Perhaps a bit of column A and column B?

Q: I am thinking about adding IHI to my RRSP but understand that there may be a withholding tax given that it is a US based fund. What is a withholding tax, how much is it, and what are the implications when I go to file my canadian income tax? (I am relatively new to the investment world and don’t want things to get too complicated when having to report losses/ gains)
Thank you for your guidance.

Q: Hi 5i team,

Given the volatile market and demographic, what will be the suggested % for healthcare sector? Currently I don't have much in healthcare and I want to add healthcare etf to my TFSA account, what's the differences between XLV , IHI and IXJ? In terms of valuation and growth, which one will be best to buy now for TFSA? Thanks.

Q: am looking to invest $5000 (U.S.) in each of these stocks. However I am concerned about the daily volume for Elbit. Would you shy away from a stock just because this?

Q: I am looking to get some exposure to the health care sector and thought I would look at an ETF as opposed to a single company. I'm considering either XLV or IHI and would like your opinion of these two ETFs, and which you would prefer. I would be adding the ETF as a full position in my RRSP.

Also, if there is another ETF that you prefer over these two, please include that in your response.

thanks for your insight
