Q: What are your thoughts about this as a US/CDN high yield income portfolio? Any ideas would be appreciated. Please take as many credits as needed.

Q: My margin account interest rate is currently at 7.90%. With recent increase of interest rate by BOC, the rate may go up by another 0.25%. Out of the 5 stocks I am holding in this account, only two (MPCT.UN and PEY) have dividend higher than the interest rates. Would you recommend any other Canadian stocks with high dividend/ yeild for margin account.

Q: These are my current holdings and I am looking forward to 2023. They are held in relatively the same quantities in 5 different accounts, a RRIF, 2 TFSA's and 2 Non registered accounts. I am retired an enjoy the income. Do you see any issues with these holdings or have any suggestions looking forward. The only non dividend holding is AR.
Take any extra credits as necessary. Thank you in advance. Enjoy and appreciate 5i'S help. Happy New Year.

Q: Are these three companies safe for an income-seeking investor? What are their prospects going forward and are the dividends sustainable? Please rank them. Thanks.

Q: Greetings. In 2021, I took a small tax hit, to shift my "UN" stocks to my TFSA from my non registered... ostensibly to simplify my taxes. Just wondering if, going forward, you folks have heard whether HHL will lose their straight dividend status - or has it already? Thanks.

Q: Hello Peter,
I have several 'half positions' in my TFSA and new cash to top up a few. While I know these are very different companies (APR.UN, AVLR, EGLX, PHO, XBC, FVI and ENGH), if you were investing with a 5 year time frame and had a 7 or 8 out of 10 comfort level with risk, in what order would you top these up, with the goal of best total return (not necessarily 'home runs'). Thanks in advance!

Q: Hello Peter, it's been a couple of months since you addressed a question on this company. Can I please have your current assessment? Also, as the yield is very nice, if one has a moderately high risk tolerance and no need for the cash in the next few years, would you consider it worth holding, or would you move on to something else.

Q: Hello Peter,
If you owned these as full-positioned laggards in your portfolio, but were also a patient, long-term investor and appreciated the dividends, which of the following would you currently hold, sell or add to at this time? FSZ, AW.UN, CSH.UN, T, EWJ, HCG, MX, KBL, APR.UN, ZPR, NTR, TECK.B and CN?

Q: I am wondering about the risk to APR's dividend, given that they have triple net leases..
The yield is over 20%. Do you expect that a number of tenants who operate the dealerships may go out of business or otherwise declare bankruptcy? If one assumes that this economic contraction should not last more than a year, and there would be pent up demand, would dealerships give up on the business or would most be expected to cut expenses and just try to get to the other side?

i realize they haven't increased their dividend, but at 20+%, its a moot issue.

Should I take a bite now or wait to see the next quarters results?

Q: Hello
I noticed APR.UN has a new issue release this evening. I'm thinking of using this opportunity to purchace some shares for my TSFA. I understand the risk of being concentrated in one sub class of real estate, but find compoany compelling. Could you provide me with your thinking and perhaps an alternative if you think its wise?
Thank you
Nicholas Marriott

Q: I am a young retiree and am not allergic to volatility. I own each of the above REITS in my RRSP or TSFA for tax purposes. They represent collectively 7% of my total portfolios including my taxable account. My taxable account holds a mix of growth and dividend paying companies. It's a rather large holding. I don't own bonds because I don't understand the first thing about bonds but currently own 23% in money market or Guarantied Cash Deposits. I would like to add to my revenue generating part and would like to tone the risk down a bit. Where would you go from here?

Thank you very much for your support.
