Q: Hello All,
A strategy occasionally mentioned is to consider buying at 52 week highs because it suggests continuing upward momentum .
I am following a few names which keep rising however am loathed to buy at this time because of the possible threat of a market correction.
Would you be willing to suggest any companies that you would almost certainly be buying, into recent highs, despite the looming threat?
Thank you

Q: HPS and HPF - what are the prospects for these two funds, and I assume the outlook for and relevance of preferred interest rates to investment in one of these funds?
HPS.A - not related to the above - do you expect Hammond to raise capital by way of share issue, or otherwise, for the announced 40m expansion commitment.

Q: Chesswood, North American Construction and Hammond Power Systems all produced some very good Q3 results. All look very cheap on a p/e basis. Would like to hear some comments about each as possible purchases in a diversified portfolio. I hold some HPS, but not the other 2.

Q: Re question asked by Michael re electricity infrastructure. You could consider Hammond Power, a Canadian company with a large presence in the US.
Q: Thoughts on this stock? Thanks...
Q: The company easily beat 1st q estimates and raised it's dividend. Granted there may have been big stocking up by customers, but the raise in dividend suggests the outlook it great.
Q: Another stock that just came across my radar. Looks like management is executing, pays a dividend and is in a sector which could see continued activity and growth. I realize its thinly traded. Would you pull the trigger on this one?

Q: I'm interested in Hammond and would like your input. They both seem very inexpensive but HPS has a larger dividend (and a higher P/E).
Do you like either right now? Prefer one over the other?
