Q: I see ISV has had a stumble. What appened and what do you think of it now?
- Information Services Corporation Class A Limited Voting Shares (ISV)
- TerraVest Industries Inc. (TVK)
- Hammond Power Solutions Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (HPS.A)
- Perion Network Ltd (PERI)
- InMode Ltd. (INMD)
- Vertiv Holdings LLC Class A (VRT)
Q: Like everyone else I suppose I am looking for the next great idea. Is there a company or two on your radar that is impressing you with their performance/growth outlook? Maybe tempting you to initiate a report on? Bonus points if it is already profitable, and/or approaching 1 B market cap. Double bonus points if you could see the possibility of them initiating a dividend one day. Just looking to build a short list for further investigation before next year’s TFSA contribution. Thanks so much.
- Gibson Energy Inc. (GEI)
- Evertz Technologies Limited (ET)
- Information Services Corporation Class A Limited Voting Shares (ISV)
Q: Good Morning,
I am under water with both isv and et and would like your opinion on their growth profile for the coming year. Also is there any possibility that they might increase their dividends this year? Do you think that et might give a special dividend this year?
Also, I am considering investing in gei. What do you think of this company?
Thanks for your advice.
Jane

Q: I'm liking Information Services Corp. dividend and it seems their earnings look pretty good as well. I'm guessing not a huge growth potential, but wondering about thoughts of company in possible recession and dividend security.
VCM seems to be on a positive trend, thoughts on this company as a potential addition at this time.
Thanks

Q: What are your thoughts on this one given it has corrected significantly vs. other defensive dvd payers. Thoughts on the acquisition... Do you see it having above average returns going forward given these factors. Income stock with some more growth potential than others perhaps.

Q: Good Day All,
I hold the above in an income oriented portfolio. Looking to allocate more money to tech if I can find anything that meets the criteria of a reasonably secure dividend with a minimum 4% yield, on a Cdn exchange. Tough to find in this sector but thought I would ask for any suggestions you may have. I could also just add to the above if you can find nothing better.
Much appreciated.

Q: Considering I want safety, then income, then growth…this looks a time to buy more of ISV. Those quarterly earnings appear to have impressed nobody but me! Am I missing something? Is it just the market has different priorities…ie growth first.

Q: 10:55 AM 11/15/2021
I am interested in Canadian companies that stockpile data and business information and provide this information on a one-time or subscription basis for reoccurring income. It seems they have strong moats
I really like dividends but I sense that these may all really all growth companies except for ISV
I am currently looking at DND, TRI, and ISV so far
Are there other companies with similar businesses?
Could you please compare all these companies for expected share price growth, debt, POR, dividend growth, etc., and place them in a list of desirability.
Is it better to forego a nice dividend as in ISV, and just go for growth?
If that's the case then why not just cut to the chase and buy CSU in our TFSAs and wait 10+ years?
Thank you.......... Paul W. K.

Q: Hi Peter,
Is there any growth potential for ISV? It seems to trade in a rather narrow range. Should I sell and move on?
Thanks for your advice.
