Q: I'm considering buying some GILD.My portfolio is all CDN stocks so it should benefit from some diversification and I feel US stocks may gain some strength under Trump.Obviously GILD is very cheap which reminds me a little of Concordia when I bought what I thought was an undervalued health care stock only to watch it nose dive.I also noticed a few reputable investment firms loading up over the last 2 months.My other choice was to buy PBH which is a great company but very expensive.What are your thoughts on a very cheap GILD which adds some diversification vs a fairly expensive PBH which is currently performing much better? I find i'm more of a GARP than a value investor but I appreciate getting a great stock on sale.

Q: Hello,
In your response to a question about tax loss selling you mentioned that you've noticed some strange trading in some stocks this week. Just wondering if you see any good long-term companies that have been "kicked to the curb" recently due to tax loss selling. Air Boss seems to be one that is consistently making new lows in what seems like a daily basis and Black Diamond Group has plummeted since reporting disappointing results a few weeks ago (you have a B- rating on BDI as of Jan 2015). Any names fit the bill as tax loss victims?

You and your Team are good at answering impossible questions so I have another one for you. Firstly, you have a well diversified portfolio consisting of 23 stocks which is performing very well. Q: I own all the stocks in the Balanced Equity Portfolio and have been very happy with their performance. My weightings differ naturally from your model weights since I purchased at different times. I am considering allocating a relatively large amount of additional funds from elsewhere in my portfolio into the BE Portfolio holdings ($100K+). Q: I have held Northwest Healthcare for several years and have a small net gain primarily due to the distributions. I am considering a sale of NWH.UN and the purchase of a Canadian listed residential REIT which has its property holdings in the USA. I am considering Milestone Apartment REIT (MST.UN) and Pure Multifamily REIT (RUF.UN). Would you please give me your opinion of which REIT is better to fill a vacancy in my portfolio? Is there a similar REIT that you would prefer to these two?
