Q: What are your views on Spin Master as a long-term investment? I've held it for a couple of years and it hasn't done much. It seems like they are a well run company and their recent acquisition strikes me as a good one. But will the stock deliver comparably solid long term returns or should I move on?
Q: CLS, DCBO and TOY are trading at a 5% discount of the price of the shares over the last 2 days. LMN is trading at a premium share price in the same amount of time. I have all 4 of them. Which one would you add to of the 4. One of those on sale or LMN with a better track record?
Thank you,
Thank you,

- Guardant Health Inc. (GH)
- Fulgent Genetics Inc. (FLGT)

Q: I would like to do some tax loss selling and was wondering if you might be able to rank ILLM, UPST, OVV, TOY, SQ, GH, FLGT, and COW in order from those with the least potential to recover over the next year, to the most potential. If I were to sell them all, are there any you would consider buying back after 30 days? Thanks.
Q: May I have your thoughts on TOY's latest acquisition?

- Lightspeed Commerce Inc. Subordinate Voting Shares (LSPD)
- Haivision Systems Inc. (HAI)

Q: I have held TOY for a number of years while its done nothing and I am considering a switch to ATZ. Before I throw in the towel on TOY, I would like to check a few things with you:
1) what are the current and projected P/E's for each stock?
2) what are the projected growth rates for each stock?
3) I believe TOY has a rock solid balance sheet, do you have any concerns about ATZ's balance sheet and ability to weather a possible recession? If so, ewhat are the concerns?
4) On a scale of 1-10 what are the chances of each company still being around in 5-10 years?
5) which stock has better short term and which has better long term opportunites? 6) would you make the switch?
Thanks for everything!

Q: hi, can you please advise (if not already asked) analysis on these companies most recent 1/4 and FY results.
AT seems to have had increased revenues but profits are lacking vs comparable results, IMO.
PXT looks like it is firing on all cylinders (political risk aside) and the increased dividend seems to reflects that.
TOY seems to have mixed results again.
Any released forward looking statements concern you?
Are any of these adds/buys in today's market? I own about 2% each of all 3 in a diversified account.
Cheers,
Steve

Q: Is there a good Canadian ETF for consumer cyclical / discretionary sector? If not what basket of stocks would can be included in the sector?
Q: I noticed that Hasbro went down about eight percent because of poor guidance. I wonder it this will affect Toy? I suppose it already would have it was going to do so. What are your thoughts generally on Toy^ I sold a lot when it was at $50 but I still have some left now at about $34. That was quite a big drop, too. Time to move on or do you think it will come back^
thanks for your excellent advice

Q: For a 4 year timeframe, I need to keep two of these stocks. Which two of the four are most likely to grow and be successful?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I have held TOY for a number of years. It has been a frustrating ride. They have lots of cash, a great balance sheet and a seeminly strong presence in the toy industry ..... but it never seems to get the same multiples as its peers. Every once in a while it reports a decent quarter or offers encouraging guidance and a twinkle of its potential is shown, but it just never seems to build on the momentum. I hate to be selling TOY "at the bottom" if the pendulum is about to swing back hard, but I am considering selling TOY and increasing my small holding in ECN. ECN seems to be a much more shareholder friendly company with strong management who are seeing their sp under pressure as well. Which do you think has more potential for relatively safe, oversized returns over the next 5 years ? If you have concerns about both, and think there are better alternatives, where would you put your money instead?
Many Thanks
Scott

Q: Good morning, I would appreciate your thoughts on the latest quarter. Is the market overreacting this morning? How does Spinmaster compare with other listed toy companies?
Q: Could I have your comments on Spin Masters' last report, yesterday?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Could you comment on the latest earnings from Spin Master. They look good (supported by analysts from TD and RBC) and in addition, they also introduced a quarterly dividend (something that you always like to see). Very surprised that the SP dropped but would appreciate your views.
Q: I have held TOY for many years and it has shown glimpses of promise but has never really fulfilled its potential. My return has been relatively flat over that time period. Part of my interest in TOY was the potiential for it to be taken out, but the more I read about the company the less convinced I am that the founders have any interest in exiting. Although it has held up better than the market during the past year, I am wondering if it would be a good time to take advantage of its relative strenght and purchase one of the many good companies that have been "unfairly" punished and which might have greater upside than TOY over the next 3-5 years. One such stock I have been watching is CTS.
- would you agree that a trade of TOY to CTS is likely to yield a better return over 3-5 years?
- would there be a better trade you would recommend?
- how likely is it that a large catalyst (ie a blockbuster toy or a takeover) is going to occur to propel TOY higher?
- on a scale of 1-10, 10 being most risky, how would you rate the risk level of TOY vs CTS?
Many Thanks
