Q: what would you recommend for this year's TFSA for an average investor? Thank you. Fooklin

Q: These 9 companies are the holdings in a growth oriented Canadian TFSA. The intent was for them to be long-term holds. However, NVEI, ILLM and LSPD are all down over 50% and some so rejigging is being considered.

Would you consider any of them to be a SELL?

Of the 9, which 2 would you be least inclined to keep in the portfolio and why? Please suggest potential replacements.

Q: Looking to add to GSY or TOI in the same account. Which would you choose to add to?

Q: I know how positive you are on this stock, many guests on BNN and elsewhere also favour it, and I have done well on it (thanks to you). I also know a great company and a great share price can stay out of sync for awhile. Do you think the share price is languishing solely because of the Fed's legislative changes, and if so, how many "show me" good quarters is it likely to take to approach the old highs? Q: I hold the listed equities/ ETF in my 14 year old grandson's RESP account. Given thee current environment what changes would you make in preparation for the next 4 years? I consider HFR is cash available.

Woule you consider adding some US listings for diversification? Given some current thinking regarding the US dollar would it be wiser to add Cdn listed ETFs of US companies? . What would be the tax implications of adding US listed companies that do not pay a dividend? Any paperwork?

Q: Over the last 30 years my best investments by far have been with smallish to medium sized profitable businesses with good long term growth prospects that I have bought and held for 10+ years. Generally market caps of roughly $500 million Cdn. to around $5 billion Cdn. A few have generated 20, 30 times my initial cost. I am wondering about the prospects of each of these following companies producing those kind of multi-bagger returns over the next 10 or 20 years. Would you please rank these companies in order from 1 to 13 according to the likelihood that they will become another CSU, BYD, WSP, TFII, etc. that can be a big, big winner for a long term investor: ATS, ATZ, DOO, EQB, GSY, HPS.A, KXS, LMN, NVEI, TIXT, TOI, TSU, WELL. Admittedly, TOI is a little big at $8 billion market cap.

Secondly, are there any other Cdn stocks in this size range that you would say have that kind of big upside potential, and where would you place them in comparison to the above listed companies.

Q: Hi, these are my two stocks that are down the most . I think I will keep GSY through this downturn as I have more confidence in it during rough times? Could you talk about TVE and reasons why I should keep it , sell to half position or just sell for tax loss. We seem to be swimming against the current with government and environmentalists with oil and gas companies. Is it worth keeping at least into the new year when these companies seem to do better?

Q: I have to sell most of my TFSA holdings but have the option to leave a bit in the account. I have approximately equal positions in the following stocks and I am down on each one. Each seem to have positive comments from the 5i team.

Q: With US inflationary concerns (hopefully) receding and the Fed finally pausing on US interest rate hikes (again hopefully) I'm hopeful the US market strength will broaden from some of the mega cap names like NVDA down to more mid-cap opportunities. Are there any mid ($2.5-20bn market cap) names you like currently/would suggest? (US or Canadian)

Q: Due to interest rates, both GSY, AFRM and UPSThave taken a beating.

However you seem optimistic about GSY but not AFRM and UPST. What's the reason?

Do you see GSY doubling over the next 12 months.

I am thinking to sell my AFRM and UPST and buy GSY i stead.
