Q: Good morning!
I do realise this is a high risk company, and that they are selling off hotels trying to get their financial situation improved.
However, they just reported completion of an NCIB ending December 2025, where they actually purchased about 10% of their float. They have renewed the NCIBsame for the next year. That to me is interesting, suggesting that they do actually believe their current stock price is lower than it should be. Can you have a look and let me know your thoughts about what might be the future prospects for them? ... Thanks! Paul K

Q: I must shortly divest part of my RRIF to meet legal requirements.
I would like to retain those stocks with the best longer term appreciation expectations.
My candidates for sale are:
AAPL currently overweighted
CNQ
SU
Visa currently underweighted
What would be your suggestion(s)?

Many thanks for your ongoing great work!

Q: I have owned this for a few years currently down 22% on USD side of my TFSA. I am wondering your opinion going forward Hold or Sell? With no tax loss advantage it does pain me to sell all or some but hard to know what opportunity cost I am leaving on the table is, which might be more than the loss on the stock.

What would you do? And what is the opinion of MGA overall as a business given the current climate. Thanks

Q: Eighty year old income investor. I am down a little ($2500) on T:ca. Based on your thoughts about these companies in questions today: Should I sell T:CA and buy more QBR.B:CA which I also own and is up for me by ($1500) or hold everything and let T:CA eventually go up? I do not need the funds immediately. I enjoy the dividend of T:CA.

Q: I've developed my own list of tax loss selling candidates some of which are common to your list. In what order would you purchase and are there any that you would consider a value trap or worse?

Q: I value David Rosenberg's opinion that; "Shiller P/E, length of bull run and standard deviation measures are red flags that signal a big shift is imminent." Capital appreciation is important to me, with modest income. Suggest some investments, please.

Q: Hi Peter,
Given the current valuations and the growth projection (or lack of), which two of these four stocks will most likely to have the least possibility of year end bounce and thus are ideal for tax loss selling? MDA, TRI, SRAD, or GLXY. Do you see any of these worth repurchasing for a 2 year hold after the 30 days period? Thanks.
