Q: Can you please comment on AEM's recent quarter? While costs for miners have increased, given the recent price of gold won't miners like AEM be swimming in cash moving forward? Would you be comfortable adding to a small position in AEM?

Q: Hello,
I looked at the presenters for the money show for Sept. 2024.
I saw pretty women and men flogging their stuff.
As a value investor, is it worth my time (I'm 65 and will be dead in 10 years) to attend this event so I can make better decisions now, so my wife can be more financially secure when I am no longer around?
Assuming we have the same ruling party beyond 2025.
I don't mean to be blunt - but facts are facts.
BTW - my portfolio has made more ($55k) in the past month than in the past 4 yrs. This is directly attributable to my knowledge gained from this 5i Q&A blog.
Thank you and keep up the good work.

Eli Lilly and Company (LLY)
-
UnitedHealth Group Incorporated (DE) (UNH)
Q: Hello,
I have small investments in LLY, ISRG, and UNH within the health sector. With the recent news about increased competition for LLY in the weight control product market, should I take advantage of the price decrease to increase my stake in LLY, or would you recommend another biopharmaceutical company?
Thanks. Esther

Q: I hold some TLT, at a loss.
Do you think I should add to it or or buy IEF?
This is not for a long -term hold, I just hope, if rates go down, there may be some capital gain.

Q: I've been watching this stock for a long time and trying to define my thesis so would appreciate if I'm on the right path for a thesis for holding AXON make sense?
Drivers of Growth / Reasons to Own
> Labour productivity of police (less time in office, more on streets
> Efficiency (hard to hire new police staff, use existing staff more efficiently)
> Documentation / storage as records need to be kept for long periods of time (as more users create 'evidence' more records to be kept)
> AI to improve product efficacy and driving new efficiencies in creating reports
> Increasing need for policing given crime increases
> International growth as majority of revenue is US-based
> M&A to go into peripheral areas (eg drones)
Risks
> Lawsuits due to issue w/ equipment or services provided
> Expensive stock vis-a-vis earnings (due to past delivery of high CAGRs) so a miss could hit stock hard
It seems everything they do is about developing an 'eco-system' for the police that only gets stronger as new offers developed (eg. drones, AI etc) and w/ strong record of keeping existing customers and new avenues of growth it seems good days are ahead.
Am I missing something?
