Q: Hi 5i,
If Sunoco buys Parkland, does it (Parkland) become a foreign holding(US).It was bought on the TSX a few years ago as a Canadian company and would this then become an American company?

Q: I have owned MRVL since the early days of the tech growth story. I felt it would be one firm that could grow their business exponentially as the tech story evolved. That has not been the case.

I would appreciate your opinion on MRVL as a future growth story, or should it fail to hold up to scrutiny, what 2 firms would fit my involvement in the story (if any). I hold NVDA, AMD, CLS, ASML, MSFT and PWR as representative of the buildout of the AI/Datacenter environment.

Q: I have owned ALNY for a couple of years now and it has done very well. As there are no other questions I assume you likely don't follow it. It recently spiked up again and I'm starting to get worried that I should sell some. I realize you can't give personal advice. Q: I've held MDI for some time (years) - thinking when gold and metals market move higher {which they have done) , MDI would be a leveraged 'picks and shovels' way to play the sector. That has not occurred, and recent quarterly results seem underwhelming to me. Your thoughts on both the results and my strategy.

Note: A couple of years ago I added AEM/NTR to bolster my materials weightings so do not need MDI in my portfolio to cover material sector.

Q: Hi 5i Team - This has not been a favourable stock for a long time. However is it possible it may have some possibilities going forward. How much debt has been paid down and how much remains. How did the last quarter look. Do you think management has the capability to turn this around or is new management needed. Are there any fundamentals you think are noteworthy. Also what is the insider and institutional ownership and has there been any significant trading recently.

Q: I know you have mentioned HOOD as a high conviction stock before. I haven’t followed it but have always thought of it as a bet on crypto. In doing some reading, I see the platform is quite popular among young people, not just for trading crypto but also for stock trading. It has recently expanded outside the US and just announced they are launching a social network. Could I please get your thought on the new social platform? Could it have huge potential? HOOD has had a huge runup and is now around its all-time high. Would you buy HOOD today? If so, would you want for a pullback? Thanks.

Q: Hello Peter,
These two stocks are the dogs in my portfolio and am not sure they will recover in a few years to get my money back. I was thinking of adding to BN, but was wondering if gold would be a better choice. I am just worried as gold is quite high and it could do the same as two i own when the whole world was talking about green energy. Gold could do a reversal .Instead of adding to BN, what would you recommend for gold exposure.. any thoughts please? Also, any comments on why Lumine group continues to slide? Appreciate it
