Q: I have some nice gains on above listed companies. I am thinking of selling a few shares and use the proceeds to invest into related companies for diversification purposes.

Q: For earning short term interest, in the past I have bought BA's and CP issued by Canadian Banks. I am now considering PSA and CASH.......which show better yields with lower buy/sell commissions. So - it seems like a no-brainer to put short term cash investments into PSA which shows an indicative yield of 5.5% - versus BA's CP or CASH. Am I missing anything here - does an investment in BA's or CP have advantages over buying PSA?? Does CASH have advantages over PSA despite the lower yield??

Q: I have a few questions re the upcoming Tesla Shareholder vote in June.
1. Do you have any thoughts re how the markets may react if Elon Mush does not get what he wants re his compensation package (in the short and long terms). My thoughts are that the price may drop quite a bit (in the short term) if he does not get what he wants; however, long term I feel that Tesla still has great potential. The reason I am confused with my (short term) logic is that if Elon does not get what he wants, it is the result of shareholders voting against it (so why would the price drop if that is what shareholders want – unless it could cause a sell off for those that wanted the package)?
2. If we feel that the price of shares will drop and wanted to insure our investment, I know that we can buy ”puts”; however, in one of your postings you mentioned that this was an expensive way to do so and that you were going to write something up. I am wondering if you could provide me the link (assuming you’ve had the time to do the writeup). If no writeup, can you provide a few words.

SHOP is currently trading at the same level it was in April 2020. In 4 years it has done nothing.

It's down 70% from its all time high.

The 'street' rates it as a moderate buy with 10 buys and 7 holds. After earnings announced on May 8 it is down 18%,

How can 5i be so bullish on this stock? It has become a Hopeify.

Q: We are very disappointed in Decisive Dividend. I bought it in the $8 range and it performed beautifully to well over $11 so I had a really nice capital gain but was too stupid to take the gain while I could. I am used to buy and hold forever stocks so not am used to ones that need to be traded. Now drifting lower and lower. What happened? I believe it has lots of cash available and I expected it to keep growing. Your suggestion please... just sell and take the small loss or keep it in hopes of the price going up again.
