Q: Hi, we are trying reduce our Technology exposure in US stocks. These are the companies held in our portfolio, in this sector, with weighting in descending order as follows: AAPL,MSFT,AMZN,MA,V,GOOG,PYPL,NVDA and ISRG.

How would you rank them, Today, based on the current valuation, growth prospects and risk ?

Also, should MA,V and PYPL be considered different than others ?

Q: I have CCP corporation and would appreciate your recommendations for buy and forget stocks (moderate risk; 10-year hold). With such high dividend taxes in the CCPC, I would prefer stocks that pay a lower dividend or no dividend. Could you please recommend the 10 CAN and 5 US stock you would buy today, if you were starting this account?

Q: Todays news rerelease mentions EGLX as one of the active members in sports gambling. I don't see the connection. What is there main revenue stream. The last news release was about online gambling exploding. EGLX was part of a group to benefit from this. In what way does this benefit them. What is their main revenue source.

Q: Hello. I have ~$50K cash to deploy for investing. Given current volatile market, I am thinking of investing all in ETF (which might be safer), unless you feel strongly about some undervalued stocks. I'd like expose to world economy including the US, Canada and perhaps others. The investment can be long term as I don't need these money right away. But in case of decent gain in a short term, I probably would take money out for real estate purchase. Can you please recommend 3-5 ETF? I understand you don't timing the market. But given the outlook for rising interest rate, would it be better just hold them as cash for now?

Q: Happy New Year!
I have little to no exposure to the metals sector and would like to pick up one stock. I was thinking about Teck due to its size and relative safety but would love to hear your favourites at different size/risk levels. Also love a quick comment about whether you believe the sector will continue to do well

Q: As a follow up to my last question on PINS, what names do you think are most attractive on this tech selloff considering a mix of quality/growth (like a middle ground of ones that been seemingly oversold but also are quality names that can weather a storm).

Would PINS be high on that list? What are 3 others? Any info on their valuations/growth prospects is appreciated!

Q: Good Morning 5i,
I would like your opinion on investing in CDR listings in Canada to gain exposure to the US market with much less of my investment dollars allocated to each individual stock. With the pull back currently going on in the markets the timing to go into the US when things settle down could be very good. If you like the CDR route, which stocks would you suggest to pick up? Please deduct whatever credits are necessary in order for you to give full consideration to my question. Thanks for your assistance!

Q: If Canada Goose was to beat estimates soundly as is their history for the coming quarter earnings (large share price increases follow reporting), how would this be viewed in the current market? Or would the current down draft ignore this and continue the downward pressure. For that matter if any company was to beat estimates this quarter is the selling pressure too much to overcome?
