Q: I bought this etf when it launched October 2017. Even though the volume has been frightening low, I'm comfortable with the channel it trades in, and I like the income. With shrinking global growth and debt concerns can this etf survive or should I sell now while the unit price is near the top of its channel?

Q: In response to Dave and his question regarding The Stars Group you used a phrase that you have sometimes used before; i.e. "The relentless selling may indicate something more". Perhaps you could elaborate. On the face of it you seem to suggest some investors have information not generally available to the rest of us and I'm not sure that's what you meant.
Thanks
Mike

Q: I have held pho for about a year and thinking of selling pho and buying nvda as they are down the same thus increasing the quality of my semi conductor exposure. Also I have made a lot of money from csu and kxs and have sold them and bought a small exposure to msft for the same reason. Does this make sense to you....thanks for the great service

Q: I have been going through the Dividend Q&A to compile a list but I think I'll just ask the question.....What are some of your preferred Canadian companies that currently have a dividend yield of 4%+ and also have some growth potential? I will leave it to your discretion whether its Top 10 list or other. thanks again... John C.
Q: WINA Can you help me understand Winmark Corp. Its a US company but its franchises are in Canada and the US. One if its franchises is PlayitAgainSports which im familiar with. Its got impressive chart performance over all time periods. Rev growth is slow but pretty steady, crazy high gross margin (im guessing due to it being a franchise and receiving fees), low div but raised yearly, nice EPS, and extremely low share count which has only gone down since inception. The performance is impressive but its very hard to value due to it having weird fundamentals from what I can see in Morningstar, hoping you can explain. Here's what I don't get. Negative book value the last 5 years, no free cash flow for 2017, and for the last 3 years its showing nothing for ROE and ROIC. Thoughts on Winmark as an investment?

Q: Hi Peter & Ryan,
Would appreciate your opinion on simplifying my mother's portfolio. The portfolio is worth 600K and I currently hold the following ETF's. VCN, VFV, XSP, VBAL, VGRO, VVL, XIN, VEE, XWD. I definately have duplication and believe I can downsize to 3 ETF's VBAL, VGRO and I like XWD for their global allocation and sector weighting.
Thoughts? And would you put 200K in each one?
Thanks,
Steve

Q: Hi 5i,
There have been a lot of questions on TSGI and you have been defending the company. The share price (short-ish term) has not agreed.
What would you need to see happen before we'd say "something isn't right here and it's time to move on."
Thanks!
Dave

Q: Hi,
I have a spousal RRSP and a Non-spousal RRSP account. The spousal account has not received contributions for over 10 years and will not be used in the future. I was thinking to combine the spousal RRSP and the non-spousal RRSP accounts. After the combination of the two accounts, the account would be a 'spousal RRSP'. Would there be any tax implications or any other reason I need to take into consideration prior to combining my two accounts? thanks,
