Q: While I realize that you've always been skeptical about the MJ sector as a whole, from an investment perspective, it might be time to take another look at CRZ in light of what has transpired in the past few months. It has recently acquired both 180 Smoke (Canada's premier vape store chain) and RVR Distribution (2017 revenue of US$25.3 million) which now gives it one of the dominant cannabis development platforms in California. This is significant because while there are currently 51 MJ stores in all of Canada, there are 450 in California. This likely explains why CRZ also had record Q2 revenue, accelerated the expiry date for its warrants (always a good sign) and boasts one of the best looking stock charts within the MJ sector.

Q: Hello Team,
Is their an American tobaco ETF that covers these 3 stocks that are mentioned in your
5i Research report on the Marijuana Industry? ( Fantastic read).
Plus, all things considered between the 3, which individual stock is the most likely in your opinion to get involved in the Industry?
Thanks,
Stephen

Q: You describe this as a cyclical stock. Can you explain the cycle that it follows? What would you look for to indicate a reversal?
Thank You

Q: Thank you for the special report on marijuana. I bought in Canopy growth prior to the liberals getting elected on the advice of a friend who assumed they would win and legalized weed...then sold at $15 thinking it was way too overvalued.
I am wanting to invest in a company again, would Aphria not be the safest place to put some money? They actually earn a profit as you detailed, why is it not being valued as high? Is it because they are not really players in the recreational market (yet)? They have the lowest cost and make money, seems like the best play? What am I missing?

Q: I'm confused with your explanation on this arrangement. Please help me understand how many ACB shares I would get under the following two 20 Day VWAP scenarios:
If the VWAP is $10, how many would I get?
If the VWAP is $15, how many would I get?
Thanks as always for your amazing service!

Q: What do you think of this cannabis company in the US? Experienced board members. Same space as Alcann (cliq) in Canada. Issuing stock to buy pharma company. Touted as the apple of weed.

Q: I know you have reservations about the company's history and certain individuals, but momentum has been good recently. On Oct. 17 at midday, about 120,000 shares ($1 million) traded in a few minutes, which I assume was an institutional order. Total volume for the day was near 600,000 shares, which has only occurred a few other times earlier this year, when the share price was much lower. Are you aware of any increasing institutional interest in VMD?

Q: Is it time to sell and move on?
Q: What did you think of Aphria's earnings? Looks like they delivered eps of 9 cents a share when $0.00 was expected. Thompson Reuters has their current fiscal year (2019) estimates at 14 cents. Looks like a muted outlook considering what I thought was a pretty decent Q1.

Q: Not sure if readers are aware, but it looks like Photon bought #650,000 of their own shares during September with their abundance of cash. Also, Mawer New Canada increased their position to over 4% of the company. Can you comment about these 2 developments?
Q: I owned ICC Labs which got a take over offer from Aurora to be paid in ACB shares. ACB price has gone crazy while ICC is still trading below the offer price. I must be missing something cos I cant figure out why everyone isn't buying ICC shares to give them up in exchange for ACB shares valued at the time of the deal. Thanks!
Q: Hi, I am looking for a company that is growing at +20%, has a P/E multiple of under 20 and pays a modest dividend. Aecon fits this but do you have better suggestion? I look for a 3 year timeline.
Q: I would like your opinion on the above.
Q: Can you tell me anything about Charlotte's web holdings? thx
Q: Good Morning 5i
With Oct. 17th. approaching do you see "profit taking" hitting SP hard, followed by rise with news? Or steady price levels awaiting expected news of deployment of $5B of Constellation investment in the firm? Do you expect more institutional and fund ownership with legalization occurring. I am long holder atleast until end of 2019. Thanks for any insight you can offer.
