Q: Just a follow up on yesterdays question re the exchanges.
If the shares on the Canadian exchange are delisted does one need to sell on the Canadian side and then buy on the US side if wanted or will this transfer happen automatically? I don't really want to sell my shares and trigger a capital gain only to buy the same on the US side and pay two transaction fees.
Thanks
Jeff

Q: I'm looking to add some bitcoin exposure to my portfolio. What is the best way to do this? I know of MSTR and FBTC but I saw in a previous question that you prefer the bitcoin etf or whatnot to be in usd. Can you recommend some stocks or ETF that would give this exposure without having to purchase it directly?

Q: I am up 140% on GLXY. Thank you.

I believe the strong recent performance is due to its NAXDAQ listing.

If this is the main reason it is up in a few days/week this news will be old and it will most likely pull back.

It's RSI is overbought and CCI is bearish.

What is your take on this? Has it hit a short term peak and will pull back shortly?

Sheldon

Q: So I bought GLXY at its peak of $34.00 and then watched it drop precipitously and then bought more at $15.00 so averaged out at $19.50 , it’s now $32.00. What a ride ! In my TFSA and still own.
I bought it because it is well managed, diversified in the crypto world, solid financials , future Nasdaq listing , and looks to benefit from Trump’s support of crypto.
While I have personally experienced its volatility I wish to mitigate such extremes as I recently experienced. I am worse at selling than buying a stock ( common to many investors ?) so am looking at stop loss orders. I believe you are not a fan but David Burrows uses them on every stock so thoughts vary on them. He uses point and click charts ? I was thinking of just using a simple % such as a 20% decline since it has such volatility. What is your suggestion on selling stocks and using certain dynamics when determining when to sell ? Thanks. Derek.

Q: These 4 stocks , held in roughly equal amounts, constitute my TFSA , which holds my riskier , growthier companies. It’s early yet but could you give me 3 companies to review and follow before the next TFSA contribution.
Also, your choice of either PXT or TSU as potential picks. Thanks Derek

Q: I want to put some money into an RESP for our newborn granddaughter. I will add some more stable growth stocks over time, but I want to start with 1 AI stock or ETF and 1 crypto stock or ETF, as the base.
These will be the buy and forget, holdings in the RESP
Can you recommend a couple US/CDN stocks and etfs in both categories, and your thoughts on whether US or Cdn currency is the better option. For a long-term hold like this, am I better to use stocks or ETFs, as the base?

Q: I'm thinking of exiting WELL for something that will be growthier if the markets continue to recover. I have VHI, GLXY and PRL in the Canadian side of my TFSA. Can you suggest a Canadian Growthy stock regardless of sector?
Thanks!

Q: I hold WELL, LMN, GLXY , EIF in roughly equal amounts in my TFSA and they are approximately 5% of my total cash and RRIF portfolios. My initial TFSA set up was for small cap growth stocks as other portfolios are full of banks , utilities, pipelines etc. Am retired and have enjoyed playing the “ riskier “ side of my portfolios , but haven’t made much money at it ! Am looking at selling it all and buying HTA for its
10 % distribution while keeping me in a growth sector. I like the idea of getting some money NOW instead of waiting till I sell. What do you think of this approach ? Possibly split the portfolio with HTA and EIF ? If I sold in stages in what order would you sell ? Thanks Derek.
