Q: PNG trading was halted late yesterday and I'm assuming it had to do with the post-market close announcement of Kraken's $615 million purchase of Covelya Group. I know PNG is a stock that is highly favoured by you right now and as such, am confident you have a better understanding of the purchase. Could you please provide your expertise on what we should see from PNG stock price short term, as well as what your overall thoughts are (good and or bad), for this acquisition? It's not really a small purchase, (it looks like just over 21% of PNG's market cap as of March 3rd close. Thanks for all your insights as always. Cheers, Don
Would appreciate your thoughts on PNG regarding their announced purchase of Coveyla group.
On the surface it makes alot of sense to acquire a complementary business that adds to their market share/ revenues/profits.....but the fact that they had to borrow a $150 million and issue approx. 41 million shares to finance it is concerning.
Do you see this as a net positive?
Have their been any similiar acquisitions in the industry that have worked out well?
Q: With the release of the 4th Q are you more or less comfortable with this being a part of your growth portfolio?
If comfortable... would you add, bringing it up to a full position?
Q: When looking at technical analysis of this company, would one need to ignore the chart action prior to March 2022 because of its spin-off ? - i.e. is it irrelevant to use stock pricing before that date to establish overall long term trend lines and channels for T.A. purposes ?
How do you see this company as an investment going forward, and how do its valuation metrics compare now to the past?

Q: Can you provide your top 5 Canadian stocks, top 5 ETFs available on the TSX and top 3 international ETFs (TSX) and top 3 US stocks that are considered HALO investments. ( Heavy assets low obsolescence) less impacted by AI disruption. Thank you
Q: I read this morning that Galaxy is being delisted from the TSX. How does one handle this move? Do I sell and re-buy on the Nasdaq, or will the Canadian shares be automatically converted to the US equivalent? And, ... why is this happening?
Q: Does it make sense to you for an 18B ETF like EWY, which represents a country's index, to be down almost 13% in one day on a war that does not impact it at all?
Q: I was rummaging through the old questions and there was one asking for your top 5 micro and top 5 small caps. It was from 2023 I believe. Wondering what your choices would be today.

Q: The most recent quarter seems to be quite positive in terms of growth and profitability trajectory - how would you assess the quarter and does this confirm a rebound for the stock or reconfirm worries?
Q: My children's entire RESP is 100% in equities. As they get closer to going to post secondary school, would owning some money market funds, like ZMMK, be a good safe strategy to hold 1-2 years tuition in case of a market downturn. And open to suggestions.
Q: Hi, I always like your options about valuations. With this diverse group of stocks, please rank the order in which you'd initiate a position today, with a short explanation why. Thank you.
Q: What do you think about holding this ETF in an RSP for a retired person looking for capital preservation and income. Is there something else you would recommend.
I am looking at turning over a portion of my portfolio and rotating into AI infrastructure. With the growth we're seeing increased power consumption, micro data centers, advanced cooling, specialized power distribution, and a supply shortfall are all going to be very relevant in the coming years with the AI capacity rising so fast.
My questions;
1. Has there been a market sector specifically dedicated to AI? Or is it just grouped into IT?
2. I know you mentioned TransAlta Corp in your recent "Best Stock Ideas. What other companies do you think we should be looking at moving forward?
3. Are you looking to have more focus on this sector for the Model Portfolios and if so, which companies are you looking at for growth and for income?
