Q: I would appreciate your thoughts on the above minimum rate reset preferred share. Please confirm the dividend receives the dividend tax credit , the new dividend rate and the security of the dividend. Also do you have any thoughts about why it appears to be trading at a discount to its peers especially when it has just reset at a higher rate. Q: BNS has been a big disappointment for many years. With every year that passes, I say to myself to be patient and give it more time. The new CEO needs time, the acquisitions need time, the valuation is attractive, reversion to the mean is a powerful force, 5i really likes it etc etc. Yet each year, there is no improvement.

I just looked at TD's EPS Consensus Expectations for 2024, and they are less than 2023! Earnings for 2023 were poor, and considerable lower than 2022 and 2021.

Please tell me why I should continue holding on.

Happy New Year. Any opinion on when shareholders should expect an update from Persistence Capital Partner on the latest offer? Is there a guideline that companies are required to follow, provide update etc . I believe the old offer was to close in January and the SP continues to drift on no news.
